Instruction for the Authors of Accepted Papers

General Instructions
Steps for submission:
1. Authors Registration
2. Create your manuscript(s)
3. Proofread and check layout of manuscript (it is highly recommended that you do
this BEFORE going to IEEE PDF eXpress.)
4. Upload source file(s) for Conversion; and/or PDF(s) for Checking
5. Use IEEE PDF eXpress to attain IEEE Xplore - compatible PDF(s). The site
contains extensive instructions, resources, helpful hints, and access to technical
support.
6. Submit final, IEEE Xplore -compatible PDF(s) to ICMDCS 2017.
General Instructions

1. Please make sure that the plagiarism of your camera-ready paper must be less than 30%
including references in order to recommend your paper for inclusion into IEEE Explore.

2. In preparing the revised / camera ready version of your paper, please note the following
instructions to prevent delay in processing.

Strictly use the IEEE Conference template obtained from conference website:

Restrict your final copy of camera ready paper within 6 pages. Otherwise page charge of
Rs. 750/page will be charged for every additional page. Paper exceeding 8 pages will not
be considered for publication.
At least four keywords or phrases in alphabetical order, separated by commas after the
Abstract.
Make sure the Abstract succinctly describes the paper as it is used in abstracting and
citation services. Keep the Abstract between 100 to 150 words.
Do not change the font sizes or line spacing to squeeze more text into a limited number
of pages.
IEEE accepts color graphics in the following formats: EPS, PS, TIFF, Word, PowerPoint,
Excel, and PDF. The resolution of a RGB color TIFF file should be 400 dpi.
Please do not include captions as part of the figures.
All the formulas and equations should be typed using standard equation editor ( not as
image).
Make sure the Conclusion succinctly summarizes the paper. It should not repeat phrases
from the Introduction! Maintain the conclusion to about 300 words.
Spell out each acronym the first time used.
Use standard IEEE conference bibliography style for the references. Number the
references sequentially as they are used in the text (not alphabetically). Make sure that
all references listed in the paper should be cited in the appropriate places. Provide
complete information for all references (e.g., don't use et al..).
Make sure all figures and tables are referred to in the text.

In addition to the above guidelines, incorporate the reviewers comments/ suggestions

provided to your paper ( if any) at the end of the mail. The reviewers' comments ( if
any) can also be found at your easychair login.
 Steps for submission:
Author Registration

At least one author should register for the conference. Pay the authors registration fee using
the payment link http://info.vit.ac.in/conference/ieee/apply.asp
We request the foreign participants to initiate the visa application as early as possible to
attend the conference and plan to visit some tourism places in the Tamil Nadu.

Create your manuscript(s)

In preparing the camera ready paper, please note the following instructions to
prevent delay in processing.
Please address/incorporate these comments and format your paper as per the
template is given in the link:

The following copyright clearance code notice is to appear on the bottom of the first
page of each paper. (978-1-5386-1716-8/17/$31.00 2017 IEEE) .
Proofread and check layout of manuscript (it is highly recommended that you do
this BEFORE going to IEEE PDF eXpress.)
Before creating PDF using PDF express plus, Make sure that page numbers in the
paper are removed, the name of all the authors are included and there are no
grammatical, spelling, or content errors in your articles prior to submitting to PDF
eXpress. Do not use prefix as Dr., Prof., Mr. Mrs. for the authors.
The camera-ready manuscript should be prepared as per the guidelines are given
in the file Guidelines for using PDF Express for ICMDCS 2017.pdf.

Creating PDF of camera ready paper using IEEE PDF Express

IEEE PDF eXpress Access Info:

IEEE PDF eXpress can generate PDF files directly compatible with the format of IEEE
Xplore from the source files (Conversion Function) or verify that the PDF files are
compatible with the IEEE Xplore format (PDF Check function).

The steps are:

1. Access the web site of IEEE PDF eXpress: www.pdf-express.org

2. Enter the conference ID: 40868XP

3. If you do not have an account select New Users Click Here and follow the steps to
register. Otherwise, sign in with your email address and password.

4. Select Create New Title

5. Among the data that identify their work and select Submit File for Checking or
Converting.

6. Select Browse and find the file. The selected file may be a PDF for compatibility or file
in another format to be converted to PDF. For more details go to the website http://www.pdf-
express.org/frhelp.asp.

7. Select Upload File. You will receive confirmation that the load was successful through
an email.

8. You will receive an email with your new PDF file PDF verified or converted by the IEEE
PDF eXpress system. If a PDF file is up to verify, in the mail it indicates whether it passed or
failed.

The file submitted and approved by the IEEE PDF eXpress system is the final version must
step in EasyChair.

Complete IEEE copyright form

The Corresponding Author shall complete IEEE copy right form provided on the conference

Submission

Submit the Camera ready copy through easychair. (Mandatory)
