GCSO LAW ENFORCEMENT SUMMARY


AUGUST 7, 2017 AUGUST 13, 2017

On Monday, August 7, 2017, the Gulf County Sheriffs Office (GCSO) received a
commercial burglary complaint at Gaskin Park in Wewahitchka. Deputy P. Baxley
responded to the complaint to conduct an investigation. A Gulf County employee
reported a pump that feeds water to the public restrooms had been stolen out of the
pump house building. Deputy Baxley continues to investigate.

On August 7, Captain C. Buchanan received a telephone call from a complainant reporting


a theft. The complainant reported a six gallon portable fuel tank with fuel had been stolen
out their boat while tied up at the lower landing in the Howard Creek area. Captain
Buchanan continues to investigate.

On Tuesday, August 8, Deputy P. Young served an arrest warrant on Sondra Jane Parker
(53) in the 400 block of Parker Farm Road in Wewahitchka. Parker was wanted by the
GCSO for Trespass in an Occupied Structure or Conveyance. The warrant was the result
of an investigation conducted by Deputy Young on August 3. Parker was arrested and
transported to the Gulf County Detention Facility (GCDF).

On Wednesday, August 9, Deputy D. Sanders observed Sirvaun Junius Wellons (45) riding
as a front-seat passenger in a blue Mazda traveling on Highway 22 west of Wewahitchka.
Deputy Sanders had prior knowledge Wellons was wanted by the GCSO for Contempt of
Court. Deputy Sanders performed a traffic stop on the blue Mazda at the intersection of
Highway22 and Road 5 west of Wewahitchka. Wellons was placed under arrest and
transported to the GCDF.

On August 9, the GCSO received theft complaint in the 700 block of Cape San Blas Road
in the Cape San Blas area. Deputy D. House responded to the complaint to conduct an
investigation. The complainant reported three silver beach cruiser bicycles had been
stolen from their rental home. Deputy House continues to investigate.

On August 9, the GCSO received a residential burglary complaint in the 300 block of Lake
Grove Road in Wewahitchka. Deputy A. White responded to the complaint to conduct an
investigation. The complainant reported a black Kenmore refrigerator had been stolen
out of his rental property. Deputy White continues to investigate.

On August 9, the GCSO received a 911 call from the 100 block of Sierra Drive. The caller
told the communication operator that the, father is hitting the children. Deputy G.
Desrosier responded to the call to conduct an investigation. The investigation revealed
Timothy Clinton Robison (32) committed Domestic Battery against a juvenile family
member. Deputy Desrosier observed physical injuries to the juvenile that substantiated
the allegations. Robison was arrested and charged with Domestic Battery. Robison was
transported to the GCDF.

On Thursday, August 10, Deputy D. House, Investigator P. Williams and Investigator S.


Ferrell arrested Terry Glen Baxley (56) in the 500 block of Kemp Cemetery Road west of
Wewahitchka. Baxley was wanted by the GCSO for Violation of Probation. Baxley was on
probation for Possession of Methamphetamine, Armed Trespass and Possession of Drug
Paraphernalia. Baxley was transported to the GCDF.

On August 10, the GCSO received a residential burglary complaint in the 6800 block of
Blossom Hill Road in the Howard Creek area. Deputy A. White responded to the complaint
to conduct an investigation. The complainant reported his former paramour broke into
his home causing damage and stealing personal property. The paramour had fled the
scene prior to law enforcement arrival. The following day, the complainant contacted the
GCSO and stated he did not want to pursue criminal charges, and requested no further
investigation be conducted.

On August 10, Deputy C. Harvey transported Tracian Danquise Williams (23), Daniel Cody
Guynn (32) from the Bay County Jail and delivered them to the GCDF. Williams was
wanted for Failure to Appear, and Guynn was wanted for Grand Theft. Guynns arrest
was the result of an investigation conducted by Investigator L. Dickey that began on July
20, 2017.

On Friday, August 11, Deputy C. Harvey conducted a traffic stop on silver Chrysler driven
by Christopher Johnathan Jones (33) in the 8200 block of Highway 98 in the St. Joe Beach
area for littering a lit cigarette. A drivers license check revealed Jones was driving with a
suspended license for being a habitual traffic offender. Jones was arrested and charged
with Driving While License Suspended or Revoked. Jones was transported to the GCDF.

On Sunday, August 13, the GCSO received a domestic disturbance complaint in the 600
block of Bryants Landing Road in the Dalkeith area. Deputy M. Manley responded to the
disturbance to conduct an investigation. The complainant reported her spouse, James
Richard Haney (41), battered her during a verbal argument. Haney had fled the scene

prior to law enforcement arrival. Deputy Manley observed physical injuries to the
complainant to substantiate the allegations. An arrest warrant charging Haney with
Domestic Battery has been applied for.

On August 13, Deputy M. Manley arrested Destiny Meshalla Rogers (19) in the 7000 block
Jasper Lee Road in the Dalkeith area. Rogers was wanted by the Sarasota County Sheriffs
Office. Rogers was transported to the GCDF awaiting extradition to Sarasota County.
