PROVINCIAL ORDINANCE NO. 2017 - 07

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 8, SECTION 15, SECTION 19

AND SECTION 23 OF PROVINCIAL ORDINANCE NO. 02-14-13TH SP-14,
ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE ENACTING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF
THE LIVELIHOOD SKILLS TRAINING CENTER OF THE PROVINCE OF
SULTAN KUDARAT, PROVIDING FUNDS FOR ITS OPERATIONS, AND
FOR OTHER PURPOSES

SECTION 1. This Ordinance shall be known as An Ordinance Amending Section 8,

Section 15, Section 19 and Section 23 of Ordinance No. 02-14-13th-SP-14, entitled An
Ordinance Enacting The Establishment of the Livelihood Skills Training Center of the
Province of Sultan Kudarat, Providing Funds For Its Operations, and For Other Purposes;

SECTION 2. Section 8 is hereby amended by inserting the following a first paragraph, to

wit:

Section 8 All students under this Livelihood Skills Center are

recommended as TESDA scholars and those who will not qualify as such
shall be considered provincial governments scholars.

SECTION 3. Section 15 is hereby amended by inserting the following second paragraph, to

wit:

Section 15. Program and Service The Center xxx

The Center shall apply for its accreditation with TESDA and other
livelihood and skills accrediting agencies of the government.

SECTION 4. Section 19 is hereby amended by inserting a second paragraph, to wit:

Section 19. Donations The Center may receive donations or

bequests of property xxx

Cash donations duly received by the Center shall be deposited in

the Development Bank of the Philippines or Land Bank of the Philippines
and such will be considered as Trust Fund.

SECTION 4. Section 23 is hereby amended by inserting a second paragraph, to wit:

Section 23. FUNDING. An amount of xxx

Donations and scholarship grant must be set aside in a trust fund

and shall be used exclusively for the facilities of the Center subject to
standard Government Procurement and Auditing Procedures.

SECTION 5. EFFECTIVITY CLAUSE. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its
approval.
