Content Standard : 1.3 By the end of 6 year- primary schooling, pupils will be able
to understand and respond to oral texts in a variety of contexts.

Learning Standard: : 1.3.1 Able to listen to and demonstrate understanding of oral


texts by :

a) Asking and answering questions

c) Predicting with guidance

Learning Objectives : By the end of this lesson, pupils should be able to:

a) Asking and answering 5 out of 10 questions based


on what the teacher asked.

b) Answer 6 out of 8 questions by listening to the


sound of the animals.

Teaching Aids : pictures of animals, video, audio

Moral Values : Love, responsible.

Thinking Skills : Identifying animals.

Multiple Intelligences : Inter-personal, intrapersonal.
