In line with the mandate of the Department of providing effective standards to be

used in the implementation of various infrastructure projects, the attached standard
design drawings for roads are hereby prescribed, for the guidance and compliance of all
concerned:

1. Concrete Sidewalk
2. Precast Concrete Curb and Gutter
3. Precast Concrete Curb
4. Raised Median Island
,5. Auxiliary Lanes for Right and Left Turning Vehicles (Design Speed = 40 kph)

The use of PrecastConcrete Curb and Precast Concrete Curb and Gutter shall be
mandatory for all road projects. Cast-in-place concrete curb and gutter may still be
adopted provided that concrete paver shall be used.

This Order shall take effect immediately.
