I'm working in PT GS Battery from last year.

My position as Quality Assurance staff in Quality Assurance

Department. In my department I have responsibility to conduct my department's program, one of the
program is to build Quality Training Center to our employee (inspector), in order to develop our
employee's skill and knowledge so that can meet the requirement of our company.

Build a training center is something new to me and my team. First, we have to set our target, our
purpose. Then, we make our plan, we divided the plan to some stage: preparation, trial, review, and
course and each stage has its activity plans, and target.

The hardest thing is we have to make the training center to be useful and can fasilitate the employee
efficiently. The preparation stage already done last year (place, curriculum, material, trainer
preparation). Now we are doing the trial stage. And arrived in its half stage.

As the temporary result, our material and curriculum help employee to understand better about their
job. And our trial training received about 80% satisfaction index.

With Holcim I hope that I can develop my skill higher (such as knowledge, interpersonal skill, leadership
and etc), with more challenge and chance. I believe that with this program I can make improvements
and development.

Because this program is designed to develop and enable me to accelerate my career progression. So
does my reason why I'm interested. I hope to develop my career further more.

When I was doing my on the job training process in PT GS battery. I was given task to reduce rejection
ratio of product in one of assembly station.

It was a difficult situation for me, I studied chemical engineering but the assembly process is a
mechanical process. But, rather than think it as a difficulties, I positively think its a challenge.

So I started little by little learned about its process, whats its problem, analyze whats the abnormality
happened, found the root cause and made improvements.

Although I couldn't make big improvement to its process. As a result I made the operator can work easily
and gave prevention system, so that the reject ratio can be decreased.
