AIM: PARTNERS ON THE PROJECT:
To observe the environment and the changes of Our partners in the project were the kindergarten staff
seasons and express these observations
who provided different materials and support, as well as
To explore and learn about spring and its main the Yellow and Green group for sharing the materials
features and associations we used.
To learn about trees, their anatomy and types of trees
To celebrate and learn more about Easter and Earth
Day

OBJECTIVES:
Encouraging children to observe changes in nature and weather associated with spring

Expressing observations in a creative matter (through arts and crafts projects)

Developing fine motor skills

Developing communication skills by talking about different ideas, observations and conclusions regarding the
topic at hand

Exploring and categorizing different materials

 SPRING & TREES
Evaluation:
Children showed great interest in this project and participated with lots of positive energy. They started
observing and commenting on the changes in nature and gathering flowers during outdoor play. They
showed the initial understanding that seasons occur but still do not show comprehension that
seasons change in a specific pattern. They were particularly interested in arts and crafts activities
which helped increase their creativity and further develop their motor skills. They liked to read and
look at different picture books about spring and nature, especially minibeasts and were interested in
repeating them from time to time. They also enjoyed all Easter activities and Earth Day crafts.
