Wiring Diagram Door Lock Systems

For vehicles requiring ADD-ON actuators for power door lock option.

Connect the Brown/Blue wire to 12volts constant.

Connect the Blue/White wire to the LOCK side of the add-on actuator.
Connect the Orange/Blue wire to chassis ground.
Connect the Brown/Green wire to 12volts constant.
Connect the Green/White wire to the UNLOCK side of the add-on actuator.
Connect the Orange/Green wire to chassis ground.

For vehicles equipped with NEGATIVE door lock system.

Connect the Brown/Blue wire to CHASSIS GROUND.

Connect the Blue/White wire to the LOCK wire from the door lock switch, which shows a
negative signal when switch is toggled to the lock position and the doors lock.
Connect the Orange/Blue wire to NOT USED.
Connect the Brown/Green wire to CHASSIS GROUND.
Connect the Green/White wire to the UNLOCK wire from the door lock switch, which shows a
negative signal when switch is toggled to the unlock position and the doors unlock.
Connect the Orange/Green wire to NOT USED.

For vehicles equipped with POSITIVE door lock system

Connect the Brown/Blue wire to 12 Volt Constant.

Connect the Blue/White wire to the LOCK wire from the door lock switch, which shows a
positive signal when switch is toggled to the lock position and the doors lock.
Connect the Orange/Blue wire to NOT USED.

Connect the Green/White wire to the UNLOCK wire from the door lock switch, which shows a
positive signal when switch is toggled to the unlock position and the doors unlock.
Connect the Orange/Green wire to NOT USED.

For vehicles equipped with VACUUM door lock system (i.e. MERECDES)

Find the BLUE wire in the drivers kick panel or the Lt. GREEN wire in the passenger kick
panel. The control wire will show 12 Volts when doors are UNLOCKED and ground when the
doors are LOCKED. For this locking system you will need to change jumper position J1 from
0.5 sec. lock time to 3.5 sec. function. (Found on page 6)
Connect the Brown/Blue wire to CHASSIS GROUND.
Connect the Blue/White wire to the Orange/Green. Both wires are found on the same plug.
Connect the Orange/Blue wire to the blue wire coming from the door actuator. This blue wire
is joined to the servomotor, which must be cut in order to operate
Connect the Brown/Green wire to 12 Volt Constant.
Connect the Green/White wire to the blue wire coming from the servomotor. This blue wire is

Connect the Orange/Green wire to the Blue/White. Both wires are found on the same plug.
NOTE: If when testing the BLUE or Lt. GREEN door lock wires and it is found that the
UNLOCK is a negative signal and the LOCK is a positive signal when testing, then the
BROWN/BLUE wire must go to 12Volts constant and the BROWN/GREEN wire must go to a
chassis ground.

Door Lock Systems

For vehicles equipped with REVERSE POLARITY door lock system

This type of door lock system does not require factory-installed relays to operate. In order to
test for this type of system you must access the lock and unlock wires coming from door lock
switch (may be found in the drivers kick panel). Test these wires for a positive signal when
toggling door lock switch between lock and unlock. When you have these wires located cut
one in half and check to see if the lock and unlock operation has stop working, if so determine
which half is for the switch side and which is the motor side.
Connect the Brown/Blue wire to 12 Volts constant.
Connect the Blue/White wire to the door lock motor side wire.
Connect the Orange/Blue wire to the door lock switch side wire.
Connect the Brown/Green wire to 12 Volts constant.
Connect the Green/White wire to the door unlock motor side wire.
