This song was born when cellist Steve Nelson and I were goofing For the best first impression, start learning this song at
around with the famous Pachelbels Canon and a U2 feel. measure 41.
The reason we had to change the title from Pachelbel meets U2 For best results, let the accompaniment be a compliment to,
to Pachelbel meets Me2 is because our permissions person rather than a competitor with, the melody.
cleared things properly for the recording but not for the sheet
music. Luckily the U2 part is played mostly by the cello, so the
piano score is pretty much the same (the cello score is no longer
available).
A track minus the piano (hereafter referred to as "minus track") is
also available if you want to perform the song together with a
recording of the orchestration.
