HIGH EFFICIENCY ILLUMINATION

Compact horizontal lu m inaire designed for area and
roadway lighting applications. Optical superiority
of the anodized aluminum reflector and precision
refractor result in maximum iight utilization. Avail-
able in LE.S. light distribution patterns Type ll,
ll-4 way (glass refractor only) and lll to econom-
ically illuminate any area with excellent uniforrnity,
low glare, and well designed light cutoff. Available
in mercury vapor and high pressure sodium.

PROTECTIVE SEALS
Reflector and refractor are gasket sealed with
polyester fiber 'Breathing Seal . This provides a
good mechanical gasket and filters contaminants
from entering the opiical system, thus reducing
maintenance costs.
Unit features a one-hand' trigger door latch and
integrally cast hinge f or qu ick relamping or general
servicing. Lower housing is easily removed by
releasing h inge keeper. All units are furnished with
o
an internal four bolt slipiitter, adjustable for 1 % "
and 2" mast arms or titter installations. Refractor
conforms to ANSI Standard C136.14 and is mechan-
ically interchangeable with other retractors meet-
inq this speciiication.

DESIGNED FOR DUBABILITY

Rugged construction upper and lower housings
are die-cast aluminum with all hardware ot
corrosion-resistant materials. Long lasting baked-
on acrylic enamel finish gives added protection
even in highly corrosive atmospheric conditions.
Standard finish is Munsell Grey-others available.
Unit is designed for efiicient operation in
temperatures as low as 20o F.
