Resumo
Cinco questes so apresentadas sobre a teoria da aprendizagem significativa. As respostas a essas ques-
aprendizagem.

Abstract
Five questions are presented on the theory of meaningful learning. The answers to these questions
indicate that the theory is centralized basically in the explanation of the cognitive learning that occurs in
the classroom. In relation to its origin, the theory is related to the experience as a pupil of Ausubel himself
and to the pioneering work of F.C.Bartlett. It is not based on Piagets ideas and it is distinct from the
humanist perspective of Rogers. The concept of the disposition for learning needs more elaboration and the
relationship between this concept and the impulses for learning need deepening. The theory is potentially
useful for the study of the learning strategies.
