MINUTES OF MEETING ON THE 1ST CONSULTATIVE MEETING OF

SCHOOL MATHEMATICS COORDINATORS IN THE DISTRICT OF BOCAUE
FOR THE S.Y. 2017-2018

The first consultative meeting for the S.Y. 2017-2018 of Bocaue School Mathematics Coordinators
was held last June 29, 2017 at Bunducan Elementary School from 3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Venue: Cong. Erasmo R. Cruz Mem. Central School
- One participant per grade level
- Type of Test: Written Test
- Questions: 10 Super Easy, 5 Very Easy and 5 Easy
- Time Allotment: 1 hour
- Test questions are all written in English (from grades 1 to 6)
- Grades 1 to 3 - Up to Division Level only
- Grades 4 to 6 - Up to Regional Level
- Division MathCom will be conducted on August 29, 2017 at San Miguel
Elementary School, San Miguel South District

*Math Trail, SUDOKU, Rubiks Cube and SIMs Contests

- School Level First week of August, 2017

- Simultaneous District Level - September13, 2017
Venue: Cong Erasmo R. Cruz Mem. Central School

- Math Trail Competition one group per school composed of three (3)
members (1 grade 4 pupil, 1 grade 5 pupil and 1 grade 6 pupil)

- SUDOKU Math Challenge three (3) participants per school (1 grade 4

pupil, 1 grade 5 pupil and 1 grade 6 pupil)

- Rubiks Cube Contest one (1) participant per school (fastest pupil from
grades 1 to 6)

- Attire during the contest - white t-shirt, maong pants and ID

- Secure parents permit
- No district level in the SIMs Contest
- Who will be the participants of the district in the Division SIMs Contest?
 Six best mathematics teachers in the district from grades 1 to 6.

- Participant in this contest is one (1) school per district

Participant: Bunducan Elementary School headed by Mr. Virgilio G. Alejandro
- Each school must have one corner of the school that can be considered as math garden

*Math Laboratory Contest

- It will be participated by one school in each district.
Schedule of Division Evaluation: February or March, 2018
Participant: St. Martha Elementary School led by Mr. Noel Flores
- Each school must have one functional math laboratory.

5. DepEd Order No.42 s.2016

Policy Guidelines of Daily Lesson Preparation for the K to 12 Basic Education Program
- Preparation of DLL/DLP must be computerized
- It can be a daily preparation or weekly preparation it depends to the teacher on where he/she can be
more effective and efficient.
- It is not necessary to fill up the reflection everyday it depends on the situations the teachers
encountered within the day or week

6. Issues and Concerns

- Teacher made test can be used in computation of grades of pupils but teachers can also use LPRIP if it
is jibed with the competencies taught to pupils
- No provisions for daily or weekly DLL
- One group will be created exclusive for Math Advisers and Coordinators (BEMTA 2017)
- Submission of Project AN Report
