Content
During this assignment, you will take on the role of a Graphic Designer who has been
commissioned to create 2 Digital Promotional material a Poster to advertise an exhibition on the work of
David Carson and an LP cover for Kraftwerks re-release of songs from their discography using mixed
media experimentation. You will research David Carson, Neville Brody and the artists and Photographers
that have inspired the graphic and typographic styles of both designers and complete both physical and
digital experimentation and take primary source photography to be used in experiments and final work.
As a group, you will visit various galleries and Liverpools Public realm to sketch and photograph ideas
and generate a stock library for experimentation. You will use your research both primary and secondary
to inspire your ideas, and workshops in mixed mediums and digital software, which you will use to
develop ideas into final outcomes.
