Notes:
1. The stages of listening:
Listen for the first time (highlight those you are unsure about).
Listen those you are unsure about again, and try to find the answers.
Check the answers, and find why you make mistakes (e.g. pronunciation? Accent?
Vocab? Connected speech? Cultural background? Word limit?)
2. For those of you who have done the listening exercise before, you are required to print
the exercise and do it again, following the stages stated above.
3. The first IELTS Written Test (A) in the following month will take place on 9 Sep, 2017,
which means that you can check what new topics are introduced before that day. HW
in Sep will be given later on.
4. For the details of each topic in speaking, please refer to

5. For those of you whose tutor is Milly or Tina, you need to submit your HW directly to
your tutor. I am sure that they will be very happy to help you. The rest of you are
supposed to submit your HW to Jeff. The deadline is 23.59 (GMT+8) each day. Taylor,
please submit your plan to Jeff as well.
6. Let me know by sending me emails (faye@bcihs.com) whenever you have questions. I
may not reply to you on time if you send me messages through other social networking
apps.
7. Please be reminded that this is a temporary version of the HW. There might be some
changes, depending on the arrangements of the management.
