STANDARDS

By the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to:-


OBJECTIVE
1. construct 3 simple sentences based on the picture puzzle.
2. match 5 answers with pictures correctly and rewrite the sentences
1. Teacher recaps the previous lesson with the pupils.
2. Every group is given picture puzzle.
3. They arrange the puzzle and paste on a piece of paper.
4. Next, they construct 3 simple sentences based on the pictures.
ACTIVITIES 5. Pupils paste their answer in front of their class.
6. Teacher checks their answers together and correct any mistake done.
7. Pupils are given worksheet which they have to match the answers with the pictures and rewrite
the sentences..
8. Linus reading screening is conducted.

2. Read and blend the phonemes.
3. Role play the dialogue.
1. Teacher displays a calendar and drills months in a year with the pupils.
2. Pupils repeat after teacher. Teacher elicits pupils responses using wh-questions.
3. Pupils drill and role play dialogues in pairs.
4. Refer to textbook page 101.
ACTIVITIES 5. Teacher displays flash cards /qu/ and drilling.
6. Elicits pupils responses and guides the pupils to read the words.
7. Pupils listen and articulate the sound and do the action relate to the sound.
8. Pupils complete the activity book page 29-30 with guidance.
9. Pupils conduct Linus reading screening.
