CRITERION OF LEADERS IN THE PERSPECTIVE OF THE

YELLOW BOOK
PRO 1 :
As Muslims we must obey all the rules that come from the Qur'an
and hadith. Because Islam regulates all aspects of human life
including, choosing leaders. And in Islam there are special
requirements to be the following leaders are his requirements:
1) first. Religion islam, it is clear in the Qur'an sura almaidah verse
51 which reads, "O believers, do not give Jews and Christians as
your loyal friends". The leader must be a believer. Because the
faithful and devoted always run the command of GOD and his
messenger.

muslim), therefore should be a leader just for seeking the pleasure
of God.
3) men. Has been portrayed in surah annisa verse 34 that men are
leaders of women. Besides the messenger of Allah said: there will
be no luck a people who surrender their leadership affairs to a
woman "(hadith history bukhori and muslim)
4) not requesting position. The Messenger of Allah (may peace be
upon him) said to Abdul Rahman bin Saamurah, Do not you ask to
be a leader. If the leadership is given to you by request, then you
shall bear the responsibility alone, and if the leadership is given to
you not by request, you will be helped to bear it. "(Bukhori and
Muslim hadith)
5) keep the law of God. Allah says, "and ye shall decide the matter
among them according to that which Allah hath revealed, and ye
follow their lusts" (quran sura almaidah verse 49)
6) fair. The Messenger of Allah said "No leader has a thing except
he will come with him on the Day of Judgment with a condition
bound, whether he will be saved by justice, or will be plunged by
his unjust." (Hadith narrated baihaqi from abu hurairah in al-kabir)

10) firm and do not hesitate. The Messenger of God said "if a
leader spreading doubt in society he will destroy them." Hadith

In addition to the above requirements. There are four criteria that

must be owned by a leader such as the traits of prophets and
apostles, namely: 1) shidiq is honest
2) trust that is can be believed.
3) fathonah is intelligent, capable, reliable, who can handle the
problems that arise.
4) the last, tabligh, that is to deliver and indict honestly, and be
responsible for the actions taken.
Why we should choose a Muslim leader. The reason is because we
are Muslims and must obey also obey the rules of religion that
comes from the Qur'an and hadith.

I disagree in your opinion about a leader who is not a muslim. The
leader of Muslim have to be Islam because, that leader who leads
man in the country which is Muslim majority. How can he
manages the matter of prayer, zakat, pilgrimage, and others, if he is
non-Muslim while he does not know the rules of Islamic rules that
regulate it.
For example: Ahok who forbad sacrificial activities, prohibits
takbiran activities, and prohibits school children wearing
headscarves on the grounds of heat and reduce concentration in
learning.
Conclusion:
Well this is the conclusion that I think it is right
as good as a leader is one who can be an example, or a leader who
holds the law of God, and as bad as a leader is a misleading, once

In my opinion, leaders in Indonesia do not necessarily have a
background as a Muslim, because our country is not a country
based on a particular religion, our country does not apply Islamic

leaders we need today are leaders who can protect all the plural
society. Many Muslim leaders already know the rules of Islam but
they continue to commit crimes such as corruption and abuse of
power.
for example, how much of the country's money has been corrupted
by Muslim leaders such as the case of E-KTP, procurement of Al
Quran, and so on.

Contra 2:
Leaders in Indonesia should not also have a background according
to the yellow book because Indonesia is currently based on
Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution which does not stipulate that
the leader must be Muslim and has the nature of Islamic nature.
What this country wants is just a fair, wise and earthy leader so
that it can be an example for people to live simple and wise lives.
Thus, a just person is always impartial, an attitude that is impartial
except to the truth. Not siding because of friendship, equality of
tribe, nation and religion.
So the fair leader will benefit everyone without regard to the
person's background. In other words, the fair leader will benefit
everyone. While the unjust leader will be the opposite that will
give damage to himself and everyone.
Conclusion:
Therefore a fair and honest non-Muslim leader in the particular
context of Indonesia is still better than the Muslim leader who is
abusive. Because the primary element needed in leadership both
central and local in Indonesia today is honesty and justice.

 The Handling Of Munkar By Using Violence

I do not agree in your opinion, because pesantren is the first
educational institution in Indonesia that has generated many

builders even participate in the intellectual life of the nation. So if

thousands of pesantren and that has been proven only one, namely

CONTRA:
In my opinion the state defense education in pesantren does not
need to be applied because of some of the following.
The first, Pesantren has applied the source of education sourced
from the Qur'an and hadith, which has taught to mencitai
homeland.
Islam has taught us to love the homeland. Islam teaches us that
every earth controlled by the ummah of Islam and applied shari'ah
islam islam. Wherever and whenever located. Not limited to skin

humans. And if there is an Islamic shari'ah applied in an Islamic
country then attacked by the enemies of Islam, it is obligatory for
its ummah to defend it. Starting from the nearest is the people, and

The enemies that attack the destructive din and the world (ummah
islam) there is nothing more obligatory after faith except reject it.

So in my opinion the state's defense does not need to be applied in

the pesantren because its teaching is already covered by Islam.
