icon DATA instruction manual

Dear customer,

hank you for your purchase of the ICON DATA real time geophysics imaging system from Gold Detectors.
This system connects at the headphones output of non-motion detectors, to create real time images of the detected targets.
For example you can use ICON DATA with all pulse induction metal detectors with frame coils, 2 box detectors like Gemini, TM808
and other similar units.
It is strongly suggested to study this manual carefully in order to understand the operation of your unit and then to practice in order to
gain a level of experience. This is a scientific instrument and every detail has to be followed.
We wish to you the best in your surveys.

ATTENTION! READ BEFORE OPERATING THE INSTRUMENT

The received audio signals from the metal detector are calculated in the INTERFACE and send through a USB cable to a
computer for a real time graphical display, using the supplied software.
The generated target images can be plotted in 2D, 3D graphics and can be edited, exported in various image formats or be
print.
The green LED DETECTOR indicates the successful connection between the ICON DATA and the metal detector, and
lights when the a metal target has been located. Use the proper audio cable from those supplied with your ICON DATA
purchase., in order to get green LED on- when a target is detected.

All notes on the manual have to followed . There are many listed factors below that affect the detection, therefore no
warrantees are given that the instrument in all cases will give the desirable result.

(then you have to click CAPTURE after a step you make, for the graphics to start appearing.)
For flat ground that does permit constant steps: select automatic data capture, then select
the intervals time. (For example if you select 3 sec., after you click START, every 3 secs.
you will hear STEP! and you have to make a step. The computer will make the graphics on
screen automatically as you make your steps. If for example you selected 10 points, on the
tenth step you hear TURN!- you need to turn to the next sweep, left or right according to the
sweep direction ( Figure 7), then walk 10 steps prompted by the voice and turn similarlyand
so on
8. Ensure auto scale data to full color range is on. Click OK and exit Options
9. Move far away from metal targets, inside or outside the ground. Stand in normal soil with no
metals, cavities, voids . Set up the metal detector as described on its manufacturers

1. THE OPTIONS MENU

Enter options, either by clicking on Options, or Tools>Options. To exit click OK for confirming the changes &
adjustments made

SOIL DATA

SOIL DATA is a tuning potentiometer on the INTERFACE that adjusts icon DATA to the metal detector
connected before you start scanning.
When you exit Options, turn on and tune the metal detector at an area free of metal.

Connect the audio output of the metal detector to the INTERFACE using the supplied cable.
Then tune the knob to get a SOIL DATA setting that results on a maximum value (on main screen).
This initial calibration must be with the metal detector head close to a large piece of metal.
The green led DETECTOR lights up, as long as a target is detected. If led does not light, use the other
supplied audio cable. Once initially adjusted at maximum, SOIL DATA knob, must not be altered again during
the search.

Soil Data can alternatively be adjusted from the options menu. Soil Data * value is not visible from the options
screen, so in order to adjust it, alter the knob and then click Read, a number appears on the Get Current
Reading window. Repeat as many times needed altering the knob to different positions with the metal detector
head near a large piece of metal, and click after on Read until you get the maximum number on Get
Current Reading window. The SOIL DATA is now correct for the metal detector been used.

Do not readjust SOIL DATA knob until you complete the survey
* Soil Data and Get Current Reading values are the same.

sweep direction
Think of the computer screen as a scale down image of the field you are going to investigate.
Icon DATA is a an advanced geophysical system with fast conversion of underground data to real time
graphics, but needs to know first from which corner of the field you will start scanning, and how you plan to
walk the parallel lines sweeps in order to cover it. You will make lines from left to right? Right to left?
From top to bottom? Bottom to top? What will be your sweep direction?

Stand on the initial position. Figure 2.

Observe the field you are going to start investigating affront of you, According to your initial position you have
to walk it in parallel sweeps starting from left or right of you. Then choose the suitable sweep direction for that
field by clicking repeatedly the sweep direction arrow. Figure 1.

An incorrect sweep direction results on wrong plotted graphs on screen

Figure 1. Examples of sweep direction selections according the metal detector starting position. The 2 most
frequently used sweep directions are shown, left to right and right to left.

icon DATA instruction manual

Sweeps & Points (Grid size)

The computer screen is a scaled down image of the field you are going to investigate.
Your survey will divide the field to a grid of similar steps. So the computer screen must be divided to
corresponding blocks, in order to determine the target position and monitor the scan.

Stand at the starting position, notice the field affront of you to realize its dimensions.
Use your imagination to divide it in parallel lines, which you have to walk for covering it.
Select on sweeps how many lines you estimate are needed to cover the field. Then select on points how
many steps you have to make per sweep line. (All steps must be equal) See figure 2

The computer screen will then be divided to a grid of blocks, same in number according your selection.
This grid is visible from the main screen while you scan, if Grid Lines is set. To this grid you will start
scanning according the selected sweep direction. Figure 2

Grids of high sweeps / points numbers produce better resolution on graphics.

For an objective view without stretch or skew on GRID / 2D CONTOUR graphic options, select square
survey grids, with similar number of sweeps to points.
The icon DATA software on GRID / 2D CONTOUR views will always try to fit the grid into the square
screen by stretching it. The 3D view however does not, and is accurate with rectangle grids.
Therefore if the grid is a long and narrow rectangle, some stretch will occur to make it square.
This will have an effect on the target size / shape imaging also.
There are 2 ways to solve this problem:
- If the area to be investigated only demands a rectangle grid, say 5 sweeps X 10 points,
enter 10 sweeps X 10 points, and stop the survey after the 5th sweep is finished. The image will be
accurate on all views (GRID / 2D CONTOUR / 3D)
-Or enter a rectangle grid of 5 sweeps X 10 points, and after the survey is finalized refer to the 3D only for
an accurate view.

data collection mode

Controls the scan mode. Scan is the capture of new soil data and their real time graphic imaging.

Auto
Using Auto the icon DATA controls the scan.
Best suited for flat ground, where a steady pace can be maintained. Enter on intervals the scan time in
seconds, that time determines your steps also.

For example an intervals time of 3 secs, means that every 3 secs icon DATA will make a scan, and a
voice STEP! to prompt the operator to step forward,
then in the next 3 secs the icon DATA will make another scan on the new piece of ground,
and the STEP! voice again to alert that the operator should make another step forward, and so on.

Manual
Using Manual the operator controls the scan.
Best suited for uneven ground, where a steady pace cannot be maintained.
Select Manual, the Capture key appears on main screen, then take your time to make equal steps,
and click Capture, after every new step you make, to scan the new piece of ground.
Icon DATA prompts with voice STEP! to make the next step.

Color Scheme
Click one from 3 data graphic color choices

Grey scales
High data values in black (possible targets), low in white (ground). Click Invert from main screen to invert

Colorful scale

High data values in red (possible targets), low in blue (ground). When used the discrimination on some metal
detectors, rejected targets appear in blue, detected targets in red, and the soil at the color tones in between.
Click Invert from main screen to invert (Invert is on by default on magnet mode)

www.imagelocators.com 12
icon DATA instruction manual

Auto scale data to full color range

For the purpose of graphical imaging, the Soil data are scaled to 36 color tones automatically by the time they
captured. On main screen the Scaled Data window instantly presents the color tone the icon DATA matches to
the specific data value. The scaling is re-arranged while surveying, and a more accurate scaling can be found
only after several sweeps, when the icon DATA has captured a lot data to estimate the truthful variations
between soil anomalies and real targets.
It is advised for amateurs to set auto scale ON.

Professionals can experiment adjusting the color scaling of data manually. If auto scale is set to OFF, 2 filter
sliders appear on the main screen. Using these filters it is possible either to enhance a target on the grid map,
or cancel background interference from unwanted soil factors like minerals or moisture.
Sometimes soil variations, mineralization, moistures, etc may mask a target, using filters it is possible to
smooth out the interference so that all underground structures can stand out clearly visible.
Click on the first filter icon to change between X (multiply map data at every time the filter is used) to /
(divide map data at every time the filter is used), also click on the second filter icon to change between add
(add to map data at every time the filter is used) and minus (subtract from map data at every time the filter is
used)

Example: import say a survey file, then leave the first filter on /, second on add slightly drug the second
filter to bottom, be careful to drug it in small steps until the image is smoothed, so the targets are start to
appear in tones of red,
while the majority of the map has the yellow/light green tones that represent the soil. Dependant on the survey,
different settings of the filters may required to produce a smoothly detailed image, or a rough one to indicate
only the strong variations.

As soon the image has been smoothed examination must take place for locating solid shapes
outlining man made structures like buried metals, cavities, tombs.

Other forms belong to physical soil geology variations.

The icon DATA is a great tool for determining the size / shape and composition of the buried target,
and also for canceling natural interference from minerals
.

2. Survey with manual data capture

The Capture key needs now to be operated to scan every step, enabling icon DATA to create images.

Connect the metal detector audio output at the INTERFACE. Using the supplied cable.

Enter Options. Select data collection mode: Manual & click

Depending at the starting position on the field, select the appropriate sweep direction, by clicking
continuously the sweep direction arrow. Do you plan to walk sweeps forward, left or right?
As an example on Figure 2, the starting position is at the bottom left corner of the field, therefore 2 possible
sweep directions could be used. If you decide to make the sweeps forward select the sweep direction as on
Figure 2:

r if you decide to make the sweeps right, select the sweep direction:

Then take your time to calculate how many steps are needed per sweep to cover the area.
Let us now imagine a grid of steps to cover our area of investigation that is 10 sweeps by 7 points. The Grid
pattern will look like that on Figure 2. Therefore enter sweeps: 10, points: 7. Your survey grid is ready. The
icon DATA screen will be divided to the same grid for you to monitor the survey.
This grid is visible from the main screen by clicking on Grid.
A typically investigated area will be like that on Fig.2. However the operator can extend the survey grid for up
to 100 sweeps / points to cover larger fields.
Exit options by clicking OK

Move far away from metal targets, inside or outside the ground. Stand in normal soil that is not
dug nor has any cavities/voids.
Set up the metal detector as described on its manufacturers instruction manual.
Special care has to be taken at the ground balance adjustment procedure if it is offered at your metal
detector.
Connect the supplied cable from the headphones jack of your metal detector to the INTERFACE.
Before start the survey, tune using the interface knob - having a large metal piece very near the
detector head - to show a Soil Data to the maximum value. The green led DETECTOR lights up, as
long as a target is detected. If led does not light, use the other supplied audio cable.

Figure 6. Handling and sweeping: Correct and False

www.imagelocators.com 14

With the metal detector now calibrated, click on Capture key to scan the piece of ground you are standing,
the voice prompts you to STEP! according to the sweep direction on Example 2 a step forward is needed,
make a step forward without changing the metal detector orientation, and click on Capture to scan the new
piece of ground, the STEP! voice is heard again, continue making equal steps and clicking on Capture right
after every step, to scan the ground, without rotating or raising the detector head.
On Figure 2 grid at the 7th step (7th point) after clicking Capture, the voice informs you to TURN!, since the
end of the sweep 1 has reached. Turn to the next sweep 2, according to the sweep direction selected.
Then click on Capture, continue making equal sized steps and clicking on Capture key afterwards.
When the end of the sweep 2 has reached, the voice informs you to TURN!, turn and scan the next sweep
3 the same way, and so on.
Continue scanning all the sweeps this way, while the graphics are been updated automatically on screen.
At the last sweep, after scanning the last step, the voice informs that the survey is COMPLETE!
The subsurface image is now on screen

The image resolution increase with fine surveys, a useful tool to practice, on how to create a grid of a fine
investigation, is to lay down an old fishing or volley net.
It has been proved effective especially on fine surveys, low cost and time saving, use the net cells as a guide
for making short and equal steps, this way the distance between steps is minimized, permitting more data
points on the area.
Another idea of a grid pattern is to fit small sticks in the ground and pass a thin thread thought them.

2.1 Metal detector survey with automatic data capture

All settings and advices of chapter 2. apply for this mode. The Soil Data are automatically scanned by the icon
DATA at every step, enabling it to create images.

Enter Options. Select Data collection mode: Auto, then enter at the intervals window the time needed
(seconds) for the automatic scanning of every step,
he intervals time defines the steps rhythm. Long intervals are slow scan resulting in slow steps.
Short intervals are fast scan, which results in fast steps.
For uneven ground surface and amateur users enter longer intervals.
Select the appropriate sweep direction and sweeps / points grid just like on paragraph 2
Exit Options by clicking OK.

Tune icon DATA before start surveying, as described on paragraph 2.

With the detector now calibrated, lets assume that an intervals time of 5 secs was entered, then every 5 secs
soil data are scanned and the voice prompts you to STEP! according to the sweep direction on Example 2,
a step forward is needed, make a step forward without changing the detector head orientation, in the next 5
secs the new piece of ground is scanned and the STEP! voice is heard again, continue making equal steps by
listening the voice, to scan the ground, without rotating or raising the detector head.
On Figure 2 grid when data are scanned at the 7th step (7th point), the voice informs you to TURN!, since the
end of the sweep 1 has reached. Turn to the next sweep 2, according to the sweep direction selected,
Turn with the metal detector like Figure 7.
In 5 secs the voice is heard again, continue making equal steps prompted by the voice.
When the end of the sweep 2 has reached, the voice informs you to TURN!, turn again (Figure 7) then scan
the next sweep 3 the same way, and so on
Continue scanning all the sweeps this way, while the graphics are been updated automatically on screen.
At the last sweep, after scanning the last step, the voice informs that the survey is COMPLETE!
The subsurface image is now on screen

.
When Soil Data readings drift due to minerals, reset your detector to the new ground conditions, having head
close to ground & away from metals.
Also occasionally at the start of a new sweep, you can reset the detector, and then start the scan.

Move slowly forward, enabling the area you scan to overlap in part, the area you scanned at the previous
sweep, avoiding loosing targets, by creating empty spaces in the ground, in the which the head didnt swept.
Also the head must be maintained at a constant height from the ground.

A B C
D

Figure 8. Correct and false head position

Working with the icon DATA the detector head should not be moved right to left in an arc, it must be kept
stable, having the sweep lines at a distance between them equal to the half of the head.
Do not adjust the detector controls while scanning.
For enhance imaging and localization of small objects short steps are required.

3. Options for graphic data presentation

3 graphic data view options are available. 2 are in real time: GRID & 2D CONTOUR, these are
switchable between them while surveying or after. The 3D can be selected only after completing the
survey, to present all data of the area, or a specific part.

Caution: If you see a red color in the scan image dont think it is a real object, a metal box
or a big gold found. First of all do either a second scan, or additional scans at different angles, and
compare the results, evaluate the depth values and check all plausibility before you start digging!

3.1 GRID
Selected from View / Grid or by clicking at the bottom right of the screen at the GRID / 2D CONTOUR
window
It is a simplified tiled graphic presentation of data. Useful to show the target position inside the survey
grid: in which exactly column and row lies.
As the data from every new survey block are captured, the corresponding cell is colored automatic (if
auto scale data to full color range is on, or manually using the X / sliders if auto scale data to full
color range is off), according to the soil data and dependant to the selected color scheme, to reveal
possible ground anomalies.
ICON DATA needs at least the first sweep line scanned, to have a good number of data for a correct
coloring. The more data captured the more reliable the color scaling is. As a result surveys with a large
grid size produce better presentations.
While surveying click on the GRID / 2D CONTOUR window to alter from GRID to 2D CONTOUR graphic
view, for a more detailed imaging of target shapes.

Upon completing the survey, click on 3D to present the whole GRID graph in 3 dimensions for a detailed
analysis of data and shapes.
The user can drug the touch pen to select (gray) specific target cells of the GRID TOGETHER with their
surroundings cells, and then click on 3D to present only the selected area of the suspected targets.
Please understand that there will be no target image on 3D if you select only the target cells on GRID and
then click on 3D. You have to select also the neighboring cells that surround it, and then click on 3D. ICON
DATA needs data from the target AND the ground around it, to show the target image.

Deleting the on screen graph Clear Grid

If it is not desirable to store on hard disk the viewed data, the graph can be deleted so the grid will appear
blank. new survey can then be initialized.
Therefore for clearing the graph, click Tools / Clear Grid

www.imagelocators.com 20
icon DATA instruction manual

Figure 9. Typical target image on GRID

Another use of GRID is the determination of target dimensions, according to the number of cells it covers.
For example with 30 cm steps on the field, a metal target that covers one cell has to be at most 30cm
wide.

Cell properties
Upon completing the survey the cell properties for each cell can be viewed on GRID, to assist the research
of possible targets. Also correction of occasional data capture faults and approximate target depth
estimation are offered. Click on the cell you need and the Cell properties window appears.

Grid Coordinate
The coordinates sweep and point for the target cell are indicated. Helping for a better pinpointing.

Soil Data
The SOIL DATA value shows the captured data for this cell. Truthful targets should have a significant
variation on their SOIL DATA value from the values of their neighboring cells, and generally to the
average value of the graph, also to the SOIL DATA of the first survey block.

Occasionally faults happen during data transmission, if user suspects a possible fault, can type a SOIL
DATA value similar to that of a neighboring cell, that had a correct capture. Upon exiting the Cell
properties window, the change is stored, and the color of the cell is restored to the color of its
neighboring cell.

Soil Data Scaled

The Data are transformed into color tones of the selected Color Scheme, according their variations. Their
color scaling varies from 0 36.

Target Depth
Approximate calculation of depth limit. The TARGET DEPTH value is calculated in meters. Many factors
affect the target detection, target size, oxidation, ground contact, ground type, the survey method (coarse
or fine) and the current ICON DATA settings. The most precise target depth indication occurs on fine
surveys and old buried targets.

www.imagelocators.com 21
icon DATA instruction manual

3.2 2D CONTOUR

Selected from View / 2D Contour or by clicking at the bottom right of the screen at the GRID / 2D
CONTOUR window
It is a colorful analytical graphic presentation of data like a map. Useful to show the target shapes and
the weaker geological anomalies that would otherwise be lost.
As the data from every new survey block are captured, the shapes are created automatically, according to
the Soil Data and dependant to the selected Color Scheme, to reveal even the smallest ground anomalies.
ICON DATA needs at least the 2 first sweep lines scanned, to have a good number of data in order to
start creating the graphics. The more data captured the more reliable the color scaling and graphic
imaging are. As a result surveys with a large number of Sweeps / Points and fine survey grid on the field,
produce accurate presentations of high resolution.

While surveying click on the GRID / 2D CONTOUR window to alter from 2D CONTOUR to GRID graphic
views, for a simplified graph.
Upon completing the survey, click on 3D to present the whole 2D CONTOUR graph in 3 dimensions for a
detailed analysis of data and shapes.

Storing the data file

While viewing on the GRID / 2D CONTOUR storing of data file is possible. The File for the survey has to
be saved manually to TABLET PC hard disk. Otherwise if the ICON DATA software is terminated all
valuable survey data will be lost. Therefore to store the file for importing it later click file File / Save.
The file is named by the current date and time in the format: IconData_DATE_TIME.txt

To open it again later click File / Open, you can switch between GRID, 2D CONTOUR and 3D to plot the
data as preferred.

The file can also renamed to be easily recognized from other surveys, in the format: IconData_Myfield.txt

Show Legend
Displays the color scaling of the graph as legend at side, according to the soil data.
The 2D Contour uses variations of colors to interpret data and visualize possible targets. The ICON DATA
occasionally when there are no targets will still produce color variations because data always are different
in every survey block, there always be a lower value and a higher value, therefore ICON DATA has to
color them accordingly, but these not necessarily belong to targets.

The color scale legend is a great tool to distinguish a true target from a false. Not only targets color tone
but the data given to that color tone in particular need to be investigated for that reason.
Metal objects along appear in red. The soil value is near 0.
The question is if there is a large variation between soil and target values.

Values also depend on target depth. In general the higher the variation from the average value the more
truthful the target is.

3.3 3D

Selected from Tools>3D or by clicking at the bottom left of the screen at 3D.
It is a colorful, 3 dimensional rotatable graphic presentation of data.
The image is 360 rotatable about its horizontal axis to be turned at the desirable viewing angle using the
bottom slider, it is also moveable about its vertical axis to be viewed from other height level using the
slider at right, then it can print by clicking on PRINT.

The Sweeps / Points grid co-ordinates surround the graph to determine the target positioning, the Soil
Data values are visible also.

Select Surface Polygon Borders then click REFRESH to create a net on the graph according the
Sweeps / Points and the data values.

The Legend at right displays the spreading of Soil Data in color tones of the selected Color scheme, the
color tone of a target should refer to a value of great variation comparable to the average data value.
A way to determine this is to observe the color tone that represents the soil (the tone that covers the
majority of the graph) and the color tone that represents the target, then compare their values.
In practice you could reject targets having small variations as false ones. Since no real targets exist on the
surveyed area, ICON DATA paints according to the color scheme the small geological anomalies
scanned.
target valuation includes the estimation of its size through the Points co-ordinates it covers, observing
of shape, color tone, its data variation to the value of the dominant graphic color tone to determine that it
represents a strong signal.

Inspect the data to color scale on the 3D screen:

The SOIL DATA values below are maximum values. Although the color scale is the same for every survey -
the SOIL DATA values vary depending on the ground and the target type, size and depth. The ICON DATA
software transforms the survey data received to images using the color scale below.
To assist in target reliability check not only the target color, size, and shape, but also the SOIL DATA value
for target color tone.
True targets should show SOIL DATA values with higher than 100 points variation compared to the ground
value*. The higher the variation the more obvious the target is.

3.4 Main screen elements

Replay:
Select Replay when the graph is completed and stored, or when a
stored file has been imported. Click Tools>Replay.
The Replay bar appears. By clicking on the > symbol the ICON DATA
immitates the way the user moved and scaned the field.
A stored image at the ICON DATA hard disk, can be imported back
anytime and be viewed using the "replay" function. The user can relax
at the comfort of his home and select "replay" to see the survey step
by step again on the ICON DATA screen,
the ICON DATA imitates the exact steps, sweep direction and data
presentation of the original survey.
The "replay" is a unique ICON DATA feature. The screen goes blank
and just like a puzzle the image is re appearing. This is not only a
"movie" of the original data capture. Use the "replay" and compare
investigations from different sweep directions and ICON DATA modes
on the same site, to validate your target.
Often small but valuable targets lying near big ones are masked and
are not visible.
The "replay" guarantees that a weak response of either a small or a
very deep target will be clearly viewable, then as the "replay" continues
and the big target is encountered the small one will fade.
It is up to you to investigate again on the suspected target area,
leave the big target out of your new survey by selecting another sweep
direction and then compare the images.
Grid Lines:
Projects with the image the selected grid of sweeps / points, to define the target sizing and pinpoint.
Data:
On Grid graph, after the scan, gives on each cell a number in between 0 36, according to the received soil data (in
scale) for that cell.
Soil Data:
Before the scan : Turn the ICON DATA interface dial, with a large metal piece near the detector head, until the maximum
Soil Data value is indicated
During the scan : it shows the receiving data by the ICON DATA.
Min. Max:
Shows the minimum and the maximum received Soil Data value for the image. These values (if show a great variation to
the soil value) present possible targets.
Scaled Data:
During the scan, gives the appropriate color tone to the received soil data value
Invert:
Inverts the image colors, as an aid to search for potential targets.

6. Troubleshooting
The interface is not recognized, the message unknown usb device or usb device failure appears
The interface should be connected to a usb slot before booting the tablet PC. Turn off the tablet PC,
disconnect the interface, wait 10 minutes for the interface to discharge, reconnect the interface and then
reboot the tablet PC. If the problem continues change the USB cable

The interface produces high, unstable Soil Data at start, or it is not recognised and it either does not
zero / or tune using the metal detector
Possible interface scramble. Remove the metal detector. Disconnect the interface and wait 5 minutes,
reconnect it to the tablet PC or reboot the tablet PC. If the problem continues change the audio cable of the
metal detector.

The green LED DETECTOR on the interface does not light when a target is detected, or lights up
with movements of the audio cable
Swap the audio cables. With your purchase came 2 audio cables to find the suitable for your metal detector.
Only one will operate with your detector.
These symptoms also occur when the audio cable is faulty. Contact with your dealer to order a new one.

The metal detector indicates high Soil Data values at start and have reduced performance
Turn the metal detector off, move to another piece of ground as it was likely that the metal detector was either
not tuned or failed to tuned.
Turn it on again and tune again... a good calibration will produce Soil Data values near 0 when searching

The metal detector has tuned, but Soil Data reads high when the head starts to move away from the
tuning position
As the head is raised to start surveying, depending to the soil minerals and metal detector type - it is
necessary to press the metal detector reset key momentarily to tune the metal detector to the new height

The ICON DATA software has malfunctioned and this message appears ICON DATA has
encountered a problem and needs to be close, we are sorry for the inconvenience...
The ICON DATA tablet PC is not guaranteed to operate for purposes other than the ICON DATA,
therefore installing other programs may cause problem to ICON DATA software or change the
Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 application that is necessary for the ICON DATA to operate.
