1. If you are a CEO, how are you going to design the reward system of your company?

If I am the CEO of the company, the giving of rewards to my employees would be based on

their performance which includes their determination in service, punctuality in attendance and

time management with their responsibilities. As a CEO, it is a very important aspect of a

company to establish a reward system because it encourages employees to do better in their

tasks and it increases the vibe of the employees to imply honesty, integrity and commitment in

their works. Every employee will be investigated carefully in which no bias will be made and

true capabilities of employees will be recognized.

2. As a (1) source and as a (2) receiver, how can you improve the communication process?

As a source or pioneer of the communication, I can improve the process through giving out

clear and understandable information to my sub-ordinates and impart thoughts that are against

conflict from members and organization. Being the source of information, I need to clarify the

words before letting the public know it. The communication process must be in order and well

organize so that misunderstanding between two parties will be avoided.

On the other hand, as a receiver, we need to understand first the information before making

any comments and feedbacks. We need to deepen our intellect towards getting information

from our bosses so that no repetitive actions will be done. In an organization smooth flow of

communication must be observe and usually employees are the one receiving information from
managers and they must always secure the source and reliability of the information they got

from the top managers.

3. One difference among the theories of leadership is whether a person can change his or her

style to fit the situation. Base on your own opinion, can a Filipino leader/manager change the

style depending on the situation?

Yes, I firmly believe that a Filipino leader/manager change the style depending on the

situation. Based on my observation, I can see how we Filipinos deal with pressure and

challenges in which we are trained to fit our style depending on the situation presented. I

always believe how we Filipinos live in the value of determination and commitment which gave

us the grace to perform our task depending on the blocks that drive our way. Filipino leaders

are trained practically and innovatively to have a change in their way of seeing situations to be

done in a certain moment of time.

4. In your own opinion, discuss if you can work better in a leader centered organization or in self

managing team?

In my case I can work better in a self managing team because employees share work tasks

and supportive or managerial tasks. Employees are responsible for their outcomes and in

control of their decision-making process and they may be more motivated than a traditional

one. Nowadays, organizations must be open to its sub-ordinate in such a way that members

can understand the situation and can contribute to the decisions made by the organization. A

self-organized team can determine, plan and manage their day to day activities and duties and

be able to help brainstorming in the performance of the organization.
