Guidance for BC-6800 Software Upgrading

A: Enable USB
1: Access START menu to run the Service Auxiliary Tools.

User ID: service
PW: Se s700
Tips: there is a blank between e and s.

3. In System protection,
Step 1: Click Initialize service tools button;
Step 2: Click Enable USB button

After pop-out of the below window, you can connect the USB disk with PC.

B: Software upgrading:
1. DMU software upgrading:
If DMU software is running, please quit and disconnect the network cable between PC and
the analyzer. Extract the upgrade package which is downloaded from Mindray TDP server,
then copy file folder DMU to PC. Right click setup.exe, and select run as administrator to
start upgrading.

Click Next to continue. Follow the update guidance to finish the upgrading.

When template message box pops up, please select Not Replace.

Click Finish to exit the Setup Wizard.

Activate DMU, login DMU system and click About to check the updated version information.

2. SPU software upgrading

a. Copy the file named update.tar.gz to USB memory (FAT32) under root directory of USB.
Do not extract it!!
b. Connect USB disk to the analyzer and login with service password (Se s700).
c. Access Status-Version Info, and click Start Update to execute the upgrade.

It will take 20~30 seconds to preparing upgrade file. Do not shut down!!

Confirm that the target CD version. Click Yes to continue upgrading.
d. If upgrading succeeds, you will see the following message. Please click OK and restart the
analyzer.

If the upgrading is not completed, you will see the following message shown in Figure-14.
Click OK and shut the power off. Then disconnect the USB memory and wait for about 10
seconds to restart

Note:
a) USB memory should be disconnected before restarting, otherwise it may cause update
fail
b) After power off, wait about 10 seconds to start again, otherwise the power supply board
may be burnt down.

After reboot, it will pop up the same message box as shown in Figure 11, insert the same
USB memory to machine and repeat the above steps till upgrade succeeds
e. Turn on the analyzer.
f. Execute initialization and access: Status-Version info, confirm the version information.
g. Run several sample tests to make sure the result is OK without any floater alarm.
