RUNNING HEAD: Spiritual Wellness

Matching spiritual wellness alongside together can take on many aspects. We first determine how

spirituality has psychological effects that governs our overall wellness. In order to meet this objective, we

must first study and learn from any given group or culture, and perform any type of forum to gain

knowledge of how determinants are employed when faced with adversity. What path is taken, and why?

What basis are the decision-making process to give them the potential desired outcome?

Spiritual wellness is a primary contributor of our health when it comes to the mind and body.

When practicing, it is vital that we understand the difference between spirituality and religion. The main

difference between the two is essentiality that spirituality is all about discovering who we are as a person.

This really takes face as we mature. For example, as I was growing up, because I only involved in one

aspect of religion, I believed that what I was taught was the only correct form of practice. It took me to

move away from home and to witness others giving praise in different formats, I then realized that they

were just as gratified as what I had become through my teachings since birth.

Religion speaks on praising a Higher Being, there are several different names and references, but

all have similar commonalities. Most religious organizations have individual intentions. Some good, some

bad, but they insist on getting those non-believers to conform to their beliefs, norms and practices.

Psychological wellness, is what we hope is a positive outcome throughout the circumstances of

life. Our psychology can be a pivotal disposition of whether we have good or bad health.

Spiritual dormancy is better described as when we allow complacency to overtake our spiritual

well-being. Its like when someone is stuck in one place and cannot move forward as if there was a road

block. But it usually takes one instance to have a break out that complacent mind set in order to get back

on the road of spiritual fitness. This isnt an unusual period, but most people go through this during some

period of their spiritual health. We all have different instances that breaks that spell.

After reviewing and drawing reflection on spiritual health, it is important for all people to have a

higher being for the benefit of our ever-evolving venture for overall wellness. When speaking of wellness

to the average person, they tend to speak from a sense of a physical nature, when in actuality, there not

referencing physiological, emotional, mental and spiritual wellness.

The concept of spirituality can be perceived as having similar meanings, but the meat and

potatoes of this concept can be inner mingled with caring attitudes, values and beliefs, from what we have

been exposed to, but havent really explored the meaning for our own individual well- being.
