use any rope material except for leather. The Turk's-head knot made of leather, the Wood
Badge Woggle, is reserved for Scouting Leaders who have earned the prestigious Wood
Badge.
The yellow rope is to indicate the stationary end (Y) or to indicate the first wrap, the green
is to indicate a previous wrap, and the red is the working end (X) or final wrap.
10. The Turk's-head neckerchief slide is 11. The beginning of the third time
formed by following this strand Y around around is shown in fig11. It may be
three times; i.e., until there are three necessary to go back around the
braided strands parallel to each other all knot and take in any slack.
around the slide (figs10,11,12).
12. Fig12 indicates end X near the 13. Hang a bead on each end of the knot

around. The slide ends at the same both ends underneath a convenient strand
point at which it was begun (Y). on the inside of the Turk's-head knot and
trim and glue (hot-glue gun). This
completes the neckerchief slide.
