PERFORMANCE STANDARD
The learners shall be able to independently apply the principles and techniques of
design using online creation tools, platforms, and applications to create original
derivative ICT content for use in specific professional tracks.

LEARNING COMPETENCIES
Evaluate existing online creation tools, platforms and applications in developing
ICT content for specific professional tracks.
Apply web design principles and elements using online creation tools, platforms,
and applications to communicate a message for a specific purpose in specific
professional tracks.
Create an original or derivative ICT content using online creation tools,
platforms, and applications to effectively communicate messages related to
specific professional tracks.
Objectives

At the end of the lesson, the students will be able to:

Create a web page using Microsoft Word
Create own website using a free host
Design a website using an online WYSIWYG platform
Edit and insert elements for the website

Each group will be tasked to create their own website using the JIMDO/JOOMLA platform.
The website can be about their communities, school and section.

Ask some students to generalize the basic techniques in creating a web page.

What are the different steps in creating a web page using the JIMDO/JOOMLA platform?

i. Assignment
Add extra content to your created website. Here are few site pages and
elements that you can add:
1. HOME PAGE CONTENT contents of your website
2. ABOUT US/ CONTACT US - this will allow visitors to contact you
3. BLOG link your created blog on your website
4. PHOTO GALLERY a page that contains different photos about your topic
5. COMMUNITY a page that contains links to the members of your group
