Job Description

1. Position : Sr. Executive/ Assistant Manager- Sales


2. Reporting to : Manager, Sales

5. Purpose:
This position is responsible for delivery of targeted sales revenues and co-coordinating all sales
activities in the defined territory.

6. Primary Job Responsibilities:

Customer Handling: Handling sales and ensuring efficient after sales service and regular
updates to the assigned accounts as per their requirement. Giving timely info to the clients
on product, schedules, updates etc. Communicate liaise and negotiate internally and
externally using appropriate methods to facilitate the development of profitable business
increased market share and sustainable relationships.

Contracting signing, negotiations and successful deal closures with clients within stipulated
time

Revenue Analysis: Ensure that the individual accounts achieve or exceed their assigned
targets through sales planning implementation of the agreed sales initiatives and ensuring
high level of market interface which results in achievement of overall regional target

Regular reviews with the clients on external targets: Provide the desired MIS to the clients
whenever required to do quarterly or half yearly reviews

Relationship Management: Maintain effective relationships with all the assigned accounts to
achieve the agreed objectives as stated above

Co-ordination: Undertake close co-ordination with related departments like Sales Support
Commercial Corporate Sales, Product teams and finance departments with an aim to ensure
better services

Identifying new business: Business focus by identifying different type of clients currently not
prioritizing our product`s sale or identifying new clients currently not working with us at all.
Either or both these initiatives should result in incremental growth in revenues and should
sustainable revenue build-up

Market trends: Keep abreast on the latest market and competitors information. Undertake
regular discussions on the updates of market trends and suggesting ways and means to the
Sales Manager.

Achievement/exceeding own revenue targets assigned


7. Education, Experience & Abilities :

Education : Graduate
Experience : 0-5 years of work experience, preferably in cruise industry
Other Abilities : An organized individual, who is articulate and is able to produce sound and
logical written reports. Should be computer literate and also have good
command of the English language. Customer orientation, strong
interpersonal, networking and communication skills would be necessary for
this position. Proven track record of sales achievement.
