DS550E Installation Instructions 1
Introduction: The Rel 3 software Installation CD1 will load the DS150E diagnostics software.
The Kensington Bluetooth software to be installed on the target PC. with CD2
Please note! The software is configured for a standard size screen, wide screen
computers may experience some clipping of the image.
Instructions: Insert the Release 3 Installation CD1 into the CD Rom drive.
Select Start >> RUN and browse for the DS150E.exe file from the CD inserted
and select OK.
Click OK and the DS150E install will start. Follow the online screen instructions to install the software

Kensington Bluetooth Software installation
Insert the Kensington Bluetooth software CD into the CD drive.

The install program should automatically. If this does not start
Automatically then click
RUN>>Browse>>CD Drive>>Autorun.exe
ATTENTION! If your computer has a Bluetooth facility,

please disable it by referring to your hardware manufacturers
manual, before installing the Kensington software.
The Delphi software is only verified to work with the dongle
supplied.
NOTE: Do not insert the USB dongle until the on-screen instructions tell you to!
This will start the Kensington Bluetooth software installation program.

Click the Click to Install button.
This will first install the Kensington Bluetooth Software drivers,
follow the on-screen instructions to finish the installation.

Configuring the Bluetooth 1
Configuring the Bluetooth
The Bluetooth dongle needs to be setup and the DS150E hardware needs to be paired using the Bluetooth
Setup Wizard option in the My Bluetooth Places. Please read the accompanying help on the Bluetooth for
more detailed instructions. This is a very brief guide to setting it up.

Right click on the Bluetooth Icon (BT) & select Explore My Bluetooth Places . This will
show the following My Bluetooth Places window:-

Click the Bluetooth Setup Wizard icon or click the Bluetooth menu and then from the
drop down menu, select the Bluetooth setup wizard.

This will show the following Bluetooth setup window:
Select the second option I want to find a specific Bluetooth device item & click Next

Search for the Bluetooth device will now start if this fails to start or device is not found
first time then simply select Search again. The list of devices found will appear as a
picture with a description name. Select the Delphi DS100 BT and select Next.

From the Bluetooth Pairing Procedure, select Skip Pairing

From this window tick Serial Port box and then click the Configure button to
configure the serial port settings.

Make sure that Secure Connection box is un ticked select Apply. Make not of the COM Port,
you will need this later when you set up the DS150E software. Select OK to close this window.
