Gospel According to St. Matthew
(Mt. 11:25-30)
On one occasion, Jesus spoke thus:
I give praise to you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth,
for although you have hidden these things
from the wise and the learned
you have revealed them to the childlike.
Yes, Father, such has been your gracious will.
All things have been handed over to me by my Father.
No one knows the Son except the Father,
and no one knows the Father except the Son
and anyone to whom the Son wishes to reveal him.

The Lords Prayer
Our Father who art in heaven Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on
earth As it is in heaven. Give us this day Our daily bread And forgive us our trespasses As we
forgive those who Trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation But deliver us from evil.
Amen.
Concluding Prayer and Blessing

comfort in our sadness, certainty in our doubt, and courage to live through this hour. Make our
faith strong through Christ our Lord.
All: Amen.
Leader: May the love of God and the peace of the Lord Jesus Christ bless and console you and
gently wipe every tear from our eyes: in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy
Spirit.
