The diagram above illustrates how Power Drawer

Concourse Iuminaires provide sharp cutoff by
shielding the source ol glare at angles above
72 degrees from verlical. The maximum main
beam candlepower zone is trom 64 lo 72
degrees with main beam maximum candlepower
at 67 deg rees.

The concealed light source ol Power Drawer

Concourse creates dramatic no glare i:lumination
which lacilitates pedestrian and vehicular traffic
and increases the abil;ty to see surrounding
area, objects and buildings. This glare control,
combined wilh the superior pavement illumination
provided by Power Drawer Concourse results
in the balanced performance necessary to
create an optimum visual environment.

Procedure for Selection of Concourse Poles
To select a pole with proper strength and wind load characteristics use the
lollowing proced u re.
A. Refer to Concourse Nominal Loading Data Table below. Find the EPA (effective
projected area) of the Iuminaire size, shape and configuration desired.
B. From the pole listing tables select a pole with an EPA rating equal to or
greater than the luminaire EPA rating lor the maximum wind velooity at the
installation Iocation.
To order poles see additional ordering inlormation below the pole listing.
