Tutorial Sheet 1 week commencing September 10th 2017

Pre-amble

This semester we are focusing on Digital Logic Design. You can consult a copy of Floyd, the
recommended textbook in the Library, in EHSAS and I have sent you an e-copy Dropbox link to you too.

This tutorial is worth 20 marks. Each question is worth 3 marks, except question (2), which is worth 5
marks. You need to submit your answers by Wednesday, September 27th during that days lecture.

1. Draw a schematic diagram (i.e. circuit diagram) that implements the Boolean function

4. What is FFFF16 in decimal?
5. What is 12810 in BCD?
6. Draw a table that displays the Gray Code representation of the numbers from 010-910.
