Achievements

Challenge ClearCase Windows and UNIX source control and release tool out of date with many risk exposures. Action Improved
and and project managed the roll out of an enterprise wide upgrade to the ClearCase Windows and UNIX source control and
release tool. Ensuring that the bank could continue to use ClearCase and were not required to purchase a replacement tool.
Result The bank could continue to use the long established source control tool with new applictions and were not required to
purchase a replacement tool.

Disaster recovery strategy required for the Westpac UNIX and Windows ClearCase release tool. Action Continuously improved
and implemented a disaster recovery strategy for the Westpac UNIX and Windows ClearCase release/deployment tool. This
ensured that during a disaster the tool could still continue to function. Result This ensured business continuity for the bank
during a disaster scenario.

The company had a plan to outsource all the support roles. I provided, on a daily basis, training and mentorship to all the off-
shore resources in India. Training included the inner working of the company and the clients, compliance requirements,
source/version control application, code deployment strategies. The skill transfer was successful, with the trainees able to take
over my support role. (All the training was carried out remotely, making the whole process extremly difficult).
