Congratulations on being chosen as a member of the 2017-2018 Panther

Press Newspaper Club! This year we are looking to create the best paper yet!
Since you are now a member of the newspaper club it is very important that you stay in
contact with me throughout the year and that you meet all of your deadlines given. The
following dates are the deadlines for the week that we will start to print out our papers.
We will produce quarterly newspapers for our school. *Due dates are tentative and may
change if we need more time to produce quality work!*

The week of October 16th

o Articles and pictures are all due by October 6th

The week of December 18th

o Articles and pictures are all due by December 8th

The week of February 12th

o Articles and pictures are all due by February 2nd

The week of April 16th

o Articles and pictures are all due by April 6th

The entire Panther Press Newspaper Club will meet after school until 3:15 on the following
dates (unless otherwise notified) *A schedule will be handed out for after winter break in
January* If you cannot make a meeting please let me know ahead of time!!

November 16th
December 7th
January 10th

Articles will be submitted to me online through the Edmodo website. To access the site
you will need to go to www.edmodo.com and create a username. The class code for the
newspaper club you will need to use is 4tgu4w. You may also e-mail me articles or pictures
at any time at ddalzell@arbor145.org.
