apply to buildings three stories or less, regardless of the

In some cases, below-grade walls must be insulated. Walls
are considered below grade when their surface area is in
direct contact with the earth. Your design complies with
the below-grade wall insulation requirement if the
proposed insulation has an R-value equal to or greater than
