In this project self-cured concrete is to be casted by partially replacing the cement

with fly ash by 10%, 20%, 30%, 40% and 50%. Self-curing in concrete is achieved by adding

Super Absorbent Polymer (SAP), it has the capability of holding the water in concrete and

this water will be used for the curing. The mix proportion cement concrete is determined as

per the Indian Standards. A quantity of 5% SAP to the weight of cement is added to the

concrete. Cubes are to be casted for each mix proportion prepared and 28th day cube

compressive strength will be determined as per the standard testing procedure provided in

the Indian Standards. Form the test results the optimum replacement for the self-cured

concrete will be determine.
