Confidentiality: Having worked with children who have various special needs I am able
to adapt to new surroundings and ensure that the confidentiality of clients is kept and that
comfort and satisfaction is met.

Leadership: As a student in the Early Childhood program I have taken on a leadership


role in many occasion and through such work I have been able to work both independent
and in group settings.

Organization and Communication: Working with many different participants and


families in various settings, I have excellent written and oral communication skills and as
a result am able to articulate in a professional manner.

Early Intervention Services York Region (Placement: Jan. 2017 - Mar. 2017)
Assist Early Interventionist delivery programs that support children with special needs and
their families. Provided supports to families by helping EI in leading home visits to help
parents understand their childs development and adjust to their needs. Provide support to
children with special needs through the use of play to help skill development.

Closer to Home Child Care Centre (Placement: Sept. 2016 - Nov. 2016)
Provided support for toddlers while keeping the playroom and childcare areas clean and
organized. I also assisted Early Childhood professionals in various experiences and
activities for children including songs, games and story telling.

Caledon East Childrens Place (Placement: Jan. 2016 - Mar. 2016)


Provided support for senior preschoolers while keeping the playroom and childcare areas
clean and organized. I also assisted Early Childhood professionals in various experiences
and activities for children including songs, games and story telling.

Ronald McDonald House, Home for Dinner (Feb. 2016)


Helped prepare dinner for families residing at the house, serving anywhere from 130-150
people. I also served the families their food and cleaned up the kitchen afterwards.

Erinoaks Kids Centre for Treatment & Development (Placement: Feb. 2015)
Assisted and observed in therapeutic services through the day; to help enhance the quality
and quantity of programs provided to the clients and their families. I also helped in
lunchroom supervision during meal times.

Holy Family Catholic Elementary School (Placement: Feb. 2015)

I helped classroom teacher support each students individual needs during lessons and
provided extra help to students when needed. While in the classroom I helped prepare
crafts and activities; while completing other tasks assigned.
