Host 2: Before we start, Im _______.

Host 2: And Im ______.

Both: We are your hosts for today. And welcome to the Second
Elimination of CityMall Hip Hop Street Dance Battle 20017!

Host 2: For our CityMall Hip Hop Street Dance Battle 20017, there will be
three eliminations which will happen every Saturday of
September. The two groups with the highest scores per
elimination will advance to our Grand Dance Battle on September
30, 2017 and will win the very 1 st CityMall Hip Hop Street Dance
Battle Champion.

Host 2: Right partner. Last week was our first elimination round at
talagang nagpagalingan sa pagsayaw ang ating mga contestants.

Host 1: Kaniya-kaniyang angas, galing, at ayos ng galaw ang pinakita ng

ating mga dance groups.

Host 2: In the end, only two groups emerged victorious. Lets give a round
of applause to our two winning groups who are now qualified to
compete on our Grand Dance Battle.

Host 1: Palakpakan natin ang (name of the winning groups on the 1 st

elimination round)

Host 1: And today partner is our second elimination ng

ating Dance Battle.

Host 2: Di talaga maitatanggi na sobrang sikat na ng hip hop dance dito sa

Pilipinas. Halos lahat ng parte ng Pilipinas, may mga hip hop
groups.

Host 1: Tama. Hip hop groups who compete not only locally, but also
internationally.

Host 2: Kayang-kaya na nating makipagsabayan internationally when it

comes to Hip Hop dancing.

Host 1: We have Upeepz, Legit Status, and The Alliance who all won big
in the 2017 World Hip Hop Dance Championship held last August.

Host 2: Dati hanggang local scene lang tayo, but now we are now
dominating the world stage.

Host 1: Kaya naman we are really thankful to the management of

CityMall Philippines for coming up with this competition.

Host 2: Tama. This is a big opportunity for our dance groups to enhance
more their talents and self-confidence.
Host 1: Palakpakan naman natin ang CityMall Philippines.

Host 2: Pero partner, ano nga ba ang mga prizes na makukuha ng

mananalo sa ating Hip Hopn Street Dance Battle 2017?

Host 1: For the elimination rounds, winners will get certificates and
P1,500 in cash and P1,000.00 worth of gift certificates from
CityMall.

Host 2: Pero syempre, di dapat malungkot ang mga di papalaring manalo.

Of course, we have prepared consolation prizes for them.

Host 1: And for our Grand Battle, the 2 nd Runner Up will get Php 5,000.00
in cash.

Host 2: The first runner up will get Php 8,000.00 in cash. And the Grand
Champion will take home P10,000.00 in cash!

Host 2: Im sure, ibibigay ng ating mga contestants ang best nila today.

Host 2: And now, its time to introduce our panel of judges.

Host 2: Let us give them a round of applause.

Host 1: For sure, just like last week. They will have a tough job this
afternoon.

Host 2: And of course, we have a DTI representative to witness our event

today, ladies and gentleman, let us meet (DTI Representative).

Host 2: Palakpakan ulit natin sila.

(Wait for audience reaction)

Host 2: Syempre, we have mechanics and guidelines we need to follow for

this afternoons competition.

Host 1: Allow us to read the mechanics and guidelines.

 The dance routine must be within the allowable time of seven
(7:00) minutes per group.

Any kind of hip hop dance is allowed (crumping, break dance,

locking, popping, c-walk, etc) or any kind of dance with the hip
hop as their focal thought of choreography.

Dangerous acts or exhibitions such as back flip, tumbling, and

body drop are not allowed. Performing any of these is ground for
disqualification.
Host 2:
A timer shall be provided to guide the judges of the allowable
time. The timer shall start on the first movement or the time the
music started.

If the dance crew exceeds their performance after allowable

time, one (1) point will be deducted from the average score for
every ten (10) seconds in excess of the allowable time. Time
consumed due to technical problems with the production team
shall not be included.

Contestants must be mindful on their choice of music. Tagalog

songs are not allowed to be used.

Host 1:

The following are not allowed to be used as props:

A. Fire, firecrackers or anything that would expose the participating

CityMall branch to any risk of fire or any property damage;
B. Water
C. Dangerous or deadly weapons
D. Drugs or any illegal substance
E. Corrosive chemicals
F. Other explicitly indecent, morally offending, or discriminatory
objects

Dance performance must be within the bounds of moral

decency and must not offend anyones sensibilities. Dance
performance must also not include any political bias/leanings
nor promote discrimination.

Participants should be mindful to avoid wearing attires which

may be considered as indecent or revealing. The Organizers shall
have the authority or discretion to stop a candidate before
performing if the attire is considered as indecent or revealing
with the concurrence of DTI.
 Host 2: Aside from these mechanics and guidelines, we also have
criteria for judging:

A. Stage Appearance and Costume: 20%

B. Execution and Choreography: 20%
C. Originality and Creativity: 20%
D. Over-all Performance: 20%
E. Audience Impact: 20%

TOTAL: 100%

Host 1: Again, ulitin lang po natin, no dangerous exhibitions allowed.

Bawal ang tumbling, body drop, and back flip.

Host 2: Tama. This is ground for disqualification. We just want to assure

the safety of our contestants.

Host 1: And we can always show our love and passion for dancing
without performing these dangerous acts.

Host 2: Alright, I think super excited na ang ating mga Citymallers na

makitang magpasiklaban at magpagalingan sa pagsayaw ang ating
ibat-ibang dance groups.

Host 1: Wag na nating patagalin pa ito. Let us call on our first contestant.

Right every after performance, the hosts will go up on stage. Will ask some
questions to the dance groups e.g. where did you get the name of your
group? Have you won any national or international competitions? Or if
there is a story behind the group like why they formed their dance group.

And then, kindly ask each judge to give their comments about the
performance of the dance group. After which, introduce the next
contestant.

B. Host Spiels/ Games/ Host 1: Thats what I am talking about! Those moves are on point!
Second batch of dance
groups Host 2: Tama ka dyan. Grabe magsihataw. Pero, 1 st batch pa lang yan.
Painit na ng painit ang ating kompetisyon. Panigurado, hindi
magpapatalo ang remaining dance groups natin.

Host 1: Pero partner, ano nga ulit ang mapapanalunan ng ating mga dance
groups?

Host 2: For the elimination rounds, winners will get certificates and P1,500
in cash and P1,000.00 worth of gift certificates from CityMall.

Host 2: We need 5 participants for this game. Yung mga magagaling

sumayaw.

Host 1: So pagalingan ng sayaw. Kung sino ang may pinakamalakas na

palakpakan at hiyawan ang mananalo.

(For this game, give each audience at least 30 seconds to show-off their
dance moves.)

Host 1: Palakpakan naman natin ang mga game na game na contestants.

Of course, congratulations sa nanalo. Talagang ginalingan
masyado.
 Host 2: Alright. Let us call on our next group.

Right every after performance, the hosts will go up on stage. Will ask some
questions to the dance groups e.g. where did you get the name of your
group? Have you won any national or international competitions? Or if
there is a story behind the group like why they formed their dance group.

And then, kindly ask each judge to give their comments about the
performance of the dance group. After which, introduce the next
contestant.

C. Host Spiel/ Games/ Host 1: Sabi naman sa inyo, di magpapatalo ang

Announcement of ating remaining dance groups eh. Talagang binigay na nila ang best
Winners nila.

Host 2: There you have it guys. The dance groups for our 2 nd elimination
for the CityMall Hip Hop Street Dance Battle 2017!

Host 1: Sino sa tingin nyo ang mananalo?

Host 2: Kitang-kita ko na nahirapan ang ating mga judges. Sino ba naman

hindi? Eh ang gagaling ng ating mga contestants.

Host 1: And while waiting for all the scores to be tabulated, we prepared
another game for you guys.

Host 2: For this game, we need ten contestants.

Host 1: So this is what we call, LONGEST BREATH. So pahabaan lang ng

CityMall. Kung sino may pinakamahaba, sya ang mananalo.

Host 1: Congratulations everyone. And thank you sa pagsali. Again, our Red
Umbrella Promo is still on-going. For every Php 3,000.00 worth of
