This quick connection guide provides instructions for connecting a PC-based digital video recorder (DVR) system. It outlines how to connect the DVR to a router for optional remote viewing, a UPS or power strip for backup power, and a VGA monitor, keyboard, mouse, and speakers. It also explains how to connect up to 16 independent BNC video and audio inputs to the DVR using BNC pigtail cables and then connect those pigtail cables to CCTV cameras and other audio/video sources using BNC cables. Finally, it notes how each of the DVR's BNC outputs can be connected to CCTV monitors and speakers to view the live or recorded video feeds.
