STRONG FAMILY TIES

HOSPITABLE

THRIFTINESS

JOLLINESS
II.

Ive read about an online article about a migrant worker. She stated that being
away from the family is not easy. She has a terrible experience during her first
month; they were not briefed or advised on their job roles. They have a non-
English speaking supervisor and they communicate through sign language.

Discrimination was indeed present everywhere. She was given extra load from
her team mates and mostly she worked 12 hours daily with no day off for 6
months.

She fought her rights and her supervisor agrees with her. She said that working
abroad is not easy; you have to show respect to your supervisor and friendship
to other races.

She shared to the other readers that planning to work abroad that you have to
contemplate deeper on your decision. One should be emotionally-matured,
spiritually-filled and technically equip before leaving your homeland.

SOCIAL PROBLEMS IN THE PHILIPPINES

POVERTY- one of the most critical social problems that need to be addressed in
our country. Unemployment and under-employment rises due to lack of job
opportunity in our country.

HIGH CRIME RATE- One of the effects of crime on society is that it makes
citizens feel less safe and causes citizens to feel scared.

ENVIRONMENTAL PROBLEMS A lot of people are suffering from respiratory

problems. Deforestation may cause floods and landslides.
