Lost World of Tambun is a one-stop complete holiday destination located in Ipoh, Perak,
Malaysia. It is a surrounded by majestic 400 million years old limestone cliffs and is the ultimate
destination for group outings, family day gatherings, annual dinners, outdoor beach parties /
concerts, camping, company teambuilding, meetings / seminars and school excursions.
The theme park consists of seven elements of fun rides and sights; Water Park, Amusement
Park, Petting Zoo, Tiger Valley, Tin Valley, Adventure Park and the renowned Lost World Hot
Springs & Spa. Be it - getting acquainted with our resident furry animals; being awed by the
Siberian Tigers; speeding on Lupes Adventure Roller Coaster; scaring yourself stiff at Lost
World Haunted Chambers; sliding down giant water slides; learning about the Malaysian Tin

Spa Treatments Bookings need to be made 3 days prior to the guests arrival.
Cash Meal vouchers purchased are valid on the date of visit and no refunds will be
allowed for unused voucher.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS (THEME PARK):

A. Validity Period
All rates quoted valid from 1st April 2016 till 31st March 2017. All information and rates
offered in this Agreement must be treated with strict CONFIDENTIALITY and must not be
disclosed to a third party at any one time.
B. Taxes
All rates quoted inclusive of 6% GST. Rates may be subjected to further taxes as and
when implemented by the state government.
C. Purchasing Procedures Purchase Form Appendix 1 & 2 (as attached)

All purchases using Purchase Form Appendix 1 & 2 can be made via the Ticketing
Counters. As for the other packages kindly call the sales office for the booking forms.
D. Pre-Purchase Requirements
For all pre-purchase transactions we would require a notice period of minimum 5 working
days from Mondays to Fridays. No bookings on Saturdays, Sundays and Public
Holidays.
E. Complimentary Policy (For Theme Park Entrance Ticket Purchase only)

For every group of 20 FULL paying visitors per category, Lost World Of Tambun will
accord 01 complimentary ticket of the same category per purchase form (Valid for
entrance ticket purchases only).
TDC Registered Tour Guides/Tour Leaders/Bus Drivers accompanying tour groups,

complimentary entrance pass will be accorded upon presentation of their licensed badges
at the Reception Counter. Day Pass will be issued without access to any rides in the
park. Complimentary meal coupon valid at designated outlet will be accorded.
F. Cancellation/No-Show Charges
In the event of cancellation or reduction in the number of pax, 72 hours prior to the
groups arrival or no-show occurring on the day of arrival once a reservation has been
confirmed, Lost World Of Tambun reserves the right to impose 100% cancellation/no-
show charges on the total number of pax reserved.
G. Family Plan
Children below 90cm enter the park for free. Children denotes child aged 12 years and
below. Senior Citizen denotes age from 55 years and above. Children must be
accompanied by an adult at all times within the park.
H. Terms of Payment
All transactions made are strictly on pre-payment basis 05 working days prior to the
groups arrival unless there is credit facility being granted. Cash/credit card sales upon
arrival only applicable to purchases of Entrance Ticket / Super Saver Package / Lost
World Trail only. For payment via cheque, it must be received 07 working days prior to
the groups arrival to enable clearance. Payment must be made in favour of:

Cheque payment will only be acknowledged upon clearance by the Bank, copy of the
bank-in slip must be faxed to the Sales Department via fax no: 605 542 8899 as proof of

I. Renovation Programmes
Sunway Lost World Water Park Sdn Bhd reserves the right at its own discretion to carry
out renovations and/or upgrading programmes as and when deemed necessary without
prior notification.
J. Modification
Please note that Sunway Lost World Water Park Sdn Bhd reserves the right to amend the
existing contract during the contractual period should there be any alterations made on
the tax/services by the government etc. A notice period of 1 month will be given in-lieu,
prior to the changes.
K. Termination of Contract
This contract can be terminated by either party, giving a notice period of thirty (30) days.
All outstanding payment due by the Tour Operators must be fully settled within fourteen
(14) days prior to the official termination date.

Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 11.00am 6.00pm
Saturday, Sunday, School and Public Holidays 10.00am 6.00pm

M. School Holidays
Please note that our park will be opened every Tuesday during the Malaysian school
holidays.
N. Adhoc Group & Teambuilding Packages

Adhoc quotations can be arranged based on specific requirements.
O. Swimming Attire
When enjoying the theme park, proper swimming attire is required, however Muslim
women are allowed to wear dry fit round neck t-shirt and dry fit / Lycra aerobic tights.
P. E-load Wristband
Lost World of Tambun is using a system known as the E-load System. The E-load
Wristband is a Cashless Purchase system which acts as an E-wallet. Once loaded, the
wristband can be used by customers to purchase any items around the park with ease of
mind. The E-load can be done with a minimum of RM10.00, till a maximum of RM500.00.
Excess balance cash can be refunded on the same day by 11.30pm.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS (HOTEL):

A. Validity Period

offered in this Agreement must be treated with strict CONFIDENTIALITY and must not be
disclosed to a third party at any one time.
B. Room Rates
All rates quoted inclusive of 6% GST. Rates also inclusive of 2 breakfasts and 2 entrance
tickets to Lost World Hot Springs & Spa by Night.
C. Check-In And Check-Out

Check-in time is 3.00pm and check out is at 12.00noon. For any FIT & GIT requiring late
check-out of up to 6.00pm, a 50% charge of the contract rate will be applicable. For
check-out after 6.00pm, an automatic full night's charge will apply. Both services are
subject to hotel's room availability.
D. Group Booking Procedures

All unconfirmed GIT bookings will be automatically released twenty-one (21) days prior to
the group's arrival. Any reservations received after this date will be subject to room
availability.
E. Complimentary Policy
For every 15 rooms purchased, Lost World Hotel will accord one complimentary room
(Exotic Room), up to a maximum of 2 rooms per booking.
F. Weekday / Weekend
Weekdays denote Sundays to Thursdays.
Weekends denote Fridays and Saturdays.
G. Deposit
The Hotel reserves the right to request for a deposit equivalent to one night contracted
rate for each room reserved.
H1. FIT Cancellation/ No-Show Charges

In the event of any last minute cancellation/ no-show incurred on the day of arrival or
within 3 days prior to arrival once a reservation has been confirmed, Lost World Hotel
reserves the right to impose 100% cancellation/no-show charges on one full night room
charge. Any cancellation of FIT bookings must be informed to Lost World Hotel at least 4
days prior to guest(s) arrival. FIT reservations will not be held pass 4.00pm on the day of
arrival unless guaranteed.
H2. Group Cancellation/ No-Show Charges

In the event of any last minute cancellation/ no-show incurred 7 days prior to arrival
once a reservation has been confirmed, Lost World Hotel reserves the right to impose
100% cancellation/no-show charges on one full night room charge. Cancellation done
between 8-13 days prior to arrival will be subject to 50% cancellation charge on one full
night. Any cancellation of GIT bookings must be informed to Lost World Hotel at least 14
days prior to group's arrival (10 rooms and above).
I. Surcharge
Surcharge of RM65.00 nett applicable for Eve of Public Holidays, Public Holidays and
Malaysian School Holidays. Please refer Appendix 7.
J. Compulsory Buy (New Years Eve Celebration Event)

There will be a compulsory buy for our year end Celebration Event on 31st Dec 2016 at
RM110.00 nett for 2 tickets. This additional charge will be added to the existing contract
rate and existing surcharge where applicable.
K. Mode of Payment
The hotel requires full payment covering all agreed services 14 days prior to guest arrival.
All remittance to be in local currency only and any bank charges incurred to be borne by
the travel agent. Payment must be made in favour of:
