Change for Kids Worship
Until further notice, Kids Worship at 9:15am on Sundays
will be meeting in Whittler Hall. That is where parents can
pick up their child between the 9:15 and 10:30 service.
All interested adults are welcome to attend. The Seekers
group meets Sundays at 9:15am in room 302.
On Sept. 24 the Seekers group will begin a 21-week series
called Living the Questions. Living the Questions is a
thought provoking study that does not attempt to give
participants pat easy answers to theological questions.
The study creates an atmosphere where participants
discuss with each other the best of today's theological
thought and how it relates to their lives. Each session
begins with a 20-minute video featuring 35 of today's
leading religious leaders. In addition, participants will be
emailed 5-6 pages of study material each week before
class to read and help prepare for class discussion.

The MUMC Guatemala mission team is recruiting team
members for our trip Jan. 26-Feb. 4, 2018. Our work is in
the beautiful highlands surrounding Lake Atitlan where we
enjoy comfortable lodging and delicious food. We need
non-skilled construction workers, physicians and nurse
practitioners to serve the indigenous Maya. High school
students are welcome when accompanied by a parent.
