An Intelligent Network Backup

Abstract

An Intelligent Network Backup Tool is to develop an automatic programmed back up tool to

store the files in to the server space when any insertion of the external devices used such as

floppy drive, USB pen drive, CD ROM or in Hard disk and this complete project is for my

supervisor.

This project is to run the automatic back tool installed on all PCs for all the users using their

external drives in to system to transfer the data to view but there are some possible chances of

losing the data by forgetting CDs or USB drive or in hard drive but unable to access remotely

when require as it wont be available in the server.

Advantages

The significant advantages are flexibility and real world successes of all IP deployments given

this option an edge over the hybrid approach in the market. You will not to spend a lot to equip

and staff information offices. It is have a feature rapid ready start up, and it auto detects network

devices and configures itself on the network without a PC. So you just simply connect the cables,

turn on the application and enjoy storing and sharing all your content on this tool. It configures

itself and stores the date in the server system. It shows we no need to carry any external driver to

take backup.

Module Description:

There is only one module in this Intelligent Network Backup.

The Functionalities of the module is:

Creates a new backup

Selects an item

Enter backup script

Specifies the name for archive

Selects the folder to hold the archive

Back up is created

Can view the status of the Back up

Restores the Backup created.
