Limit Exceeding Alarms

If the number of licenses exceeds the configured authorization threshold, an

alarm is raised, indicating that the maximum license number is exceeded.

1. Limit exceeding related to a number-type function item: When the total authorization
number for all NEs in the group management exceeds the maximum, an alarm is
raised, indicating that the total authorization number for user groups exceeds the
number that can be allocated.

2. Limit exceeding related to a switch-type function item: An alarm is raised, indicating

that the use of the item on the specific NE is illegal.

After the limit is exceeded, an alarm is raised in the periodical detection

(performed between 00:00 Am and 00:15 AM each day). The alarm threshold is
compared during the limit exceeding check. This threshold is configured in the
configuration file on the license server, and can also be modified through the
license client interface.
