Working in the retail environment things can get very stressful, dealing with different personalities as
well as having to handle many tasks at one time. When I see maintaining emotional control under
stress I can think of all the different situations where things werent going well or I had people getting
mad at me for things that I had no control over. Another skill I see on this list is interacting with people
at different levels, I think this one is very apparent in my work experience because Ive had to meet and
communicate with people from all walks of life while learned that not everyone can be approached the
same way. Having the ability to handle money has also been included in my work experience. Cashiering
is a job where you must be very thorough and keep track of everything you do or it can impact the
whole company negatively.
