REGULAR VERBS
I SPELLING RULES:
1. Most verbs only need ed in the past tense.
3. If a verb ends in a vowel and a consonant, the consonant is usually doubled before adding ed.
4. If a two-syllable verb ends in a vowel and a consonant, check if the stress is on the last syllable
before doubling the last letter and adding ed.
5. If a verb ends in y preceded by another consonant, change the letter y into i and then add ed.
7. If a verb ends in a vowel plus one l, we need to double the letter l before adding ed.
