Man crushed under tin sheet at factory

A 40-year-old man was crushed under a tin sheet at the factory he worked in on Sunday evening. Police said that the matter was

reported from northwest Delhi's Mahendra Park, when the man was trying to fix one of the machines.

Police said that they received a call from one of the workers at the factory , soon after which a team was rushed to the spot and the

man, later identified as Jagannath Yadav, was taken to the hospital where the doctors declared him brought dead.

Narrating the incident, Yadav's family members said that he had left for work around 9 am and they received a call about the

incident within the next two hours. One of Yadav's coworkers told police that he was trying to repair one of the machines when a tin

sheet fell on him and he got crushed under it. Other workers also came to pull him out after hearing his voice.

Workers alleged that most of the machines falter during their peak function ing hours and that they are not being repaired.

A senior police official said that they have registered a case and are investigating into the matter. His family members gathered

outside the factory to protest.
