Just before this passage, Jesus engages a conversation about humility and
hospitality. A call to seat yourself in a place of humility rather than honor. And Scripture: Luke 14:15-23 (NLT)

The third excuse is marriage (another relationship). Me and mine is a common
excuse. We can use the excuse of family to forego Gods invitation.
PRAYER: May I invite Gods presence and sustenance into all of my
relationships.

SATURDAY: Luke 14:15-23 The Invitation Stands


Instead of cancelling dinner, the master extends the invitation to those in the
highways; to those socially on the outs. The power of this invitation is that it
stands, it reaches those who will receive it, say yes and embrace the fullness of
it.
