Dear Mr. Carfi,

I believe the department of transportation at Syracuse University has done a wonderful job thus
far in assisting students and transporting them around campus. Upon reading your website, I
was thoroughly impressed with how informational and helpful it is to the stakeholders. The
important news provided and continuously updated is perfect for assisting people around
campus. The department is constantly looking for ways to better improve their services and can
be seen through the introduction of the mobile bus tracking app. I would like to recommend for
the department, with the help of Centro, to perhaps introduce a new bus line for students who
dont need to be around Manley Fieldhouse or the Comstock Art Facility. This new bus line
needs to run from main campus straight to south campus and vice versa, with no stops in
between. Such an addition would be an excellent boost to an already solid transportation
service.

As a junior at Syracuse University, I have been commuting on the Centro south campus bus line
for two years now. Arriving on time to class is every students numer one prioriy. However, there
are days when different causes may effect a student from arriving early. Unfortunately, the
Centro buses can sometimes be the reason for students arriving late to class. Just last week, I
found myself possibly being late and was forced to run to class to avoid being extremely late.
Tired of all this rushing, I thought to myself, why not eliminate the time it takes the bus to pass
through those stops that may be unnecessary for some students. There has also been various
complaints by students and bad reviews giving to Centro. While I certainly respect the fact that a
new bus line requires the pay of more employees and buses, I believe the addition of one would
better serve the university, Centro, and make the lives of students easier. Professors would love
the fact that less students would be arriving late and interrupting their classes. Students wont
be late as much and their grades will reflect that. Centro would get better reviews and help
improve their overall services.

Perhaps it could be possible to implicate this bus line for a one year trial run, and see the
reaction it has on your services, students, and employees. Thank you for your time in reading
this letter, and I look forward to seeing some minor improvements to your already solid
transportation service.
