I MOOT PROBLEM
Pineapple State is situated in Banana Country. The Laws, geography, economic and political
systems are similar to that of India. In Pineapple State, the Governor promulgates same
ordinance multiple times over a period of five years. The impact of this Ordinance was to
take over the private school employees by the Pineapple State. Thereafter as the Ordinances
Cease to operate, the impacted employees were not considered for the entitlements
applicable to government employees. The employees approached the High Court of
Pineapple and it was dismissed on the ground that passing of such Ordinances were
unconstitutional. Thereafter, the employees appealed before Supreme Court of Banana for
relief.

NOTE:

1. Students should be present at 8.00 a.m. The students will present the case in
accordance with their register number. Those who are not present on their turn will
not be allowed to present the case. They will strictly be marked absent.
2. The students should be in Black and White uniform, with blazer and logo.
3. The Memorials should be handwritten, spiral bound and one-sided. Only green legal
sheets should be used.
4. Even Register Numbers will argue for Appellant and Odd Register Numbers will
argue for Respondent.
