GL Income Assessment Scenario

1. Customer, Radha has applied for a Fresh loan in Ujjivan. Customer is doing cloth
business in her home where she sells Saree and Dress materials. On an average she earns
Rs 2000 per week from cloth business. She also has a tailoring machine where she
stitches Blouse and dresses. She earns Rs 1000 per week from stitching. She pays Rs
1200 for purchase of materials per week. Customer has loans in Grameena koota of Rs
35000, every month she pays Rs 2300 and the current outstanding is Rs. 12000. She also
has Loan in Spandana of Rs 28000 and every week she pays off Rs 480 and the current
outstanding is Rs 8000.
In the family there are a total of 5 members. The spouse is working in a garment factory
as a supervisor where he is paid a salary of 22000 after deduction of his staff loan of Rs
1 Lakh and Rs 4600 is directly deducted from the salary. He is yet to pay Rs 84000
towards his staff loan.

Customer spends a sum of Rs 8000 towards the education of her 2 children. Other house
hold expenses Include Rent: 5000, Food: 6000, Electricity: 350, Cable: 250, Post office
Savings 3000.
Now the Customer has applied for a loan of Rs 25000 for 2 years, The EMI will come to
around Rs 2100 per month.

2. Customer, Madhulika is presently working in a Garments factory as a tailor for a salary


of Rs 6000. There are 6 members in the family. Spouse is presently working in BOSCH
Company as a driver for a salary of Rs 15000 per month. Her elder son is working in a
Pvt Company and his monthly salary is Rs 12000 and the remaining 2 children are
attending school.
The customers Mother in law gets a pension of Rs 1000 per month.
Recently the customers son took a loan of Rs 1 Lakh from Corporation bank where he
pays Rs 2300 per month as EMI and his outstanding is Rs 80000. Customer has a group
loan in Janalakshmi and borrowed Rs 40000 whose EMI is 2500 per month and the
outstanding is Rs 16000.
The customer has pledged her gold at Muthoot for Rs 80000 and pays a quarterly
interest of Rs 3000.
The customer has 2 houses in her name where she has given for rent and gets Rs 6000
from them per month.
The Other expenses include Food: 8000, Electricity 450, Cable: 250. Education: 6000,
Hospital: 1000, RD: 3000, LIC: 3000. Kindly consider above parameter and fill the CPF
carefully and give your comment.

3. Vijayalakshmi is a repeat customer who has completed 4 cycles and now has applied for
a loan of Rs 35000 in Ujjivan. Customer I working as a House maid in 3 houses. She
gets salary of 2500, 1500 & 3000 from these houses. Customer is a widow and she stays
with her son who is working in an office as a sweeper where he is paid Rs 6500.
Additionally he does tuition for students and earns Rs 2500. He purchased a 2 wheeler
through a loan and pays Rs 3200 per month as installment which he has to pay for the
next 16 months to complete the outstanding of Rs 60000. Customer has a loan in
Equitas of Rs 22000 and she pays Rs 665 twice a month and still 8 months are pending.

Other expenses include: Rent: 4200, Food and clothing: 3000, Cracker chit: 4000, Please
fill the CPF properly based on the above details & can customer eligible for 35000?

4. Muktha is studying MBA in Correspondence and also works as a trainer in a NGO and
she gets a salary of Rs 15000/month. Customer is presently single and he stays with her
mother, father and a younger brother. Father works at the post officer as a clerk. He gets
a salary of Rs 26000/month after deducting bank loan EMI of Rs 6200 which he had
borrowed to construct his house. He has presently cleared Rs 4 lakh out of his Rs 8 lakh
loan. Son also working in Ujjivan Company as a house keeper and is paid Rs
8000/month.

Her father took a personal loan of Rs 40000 last week and is yet to start the repayment of
8000 per month. Customer spends Rs 60000 per year towards saving and her personal
expenses and Rs 3000 per month for her studies.
Along with this the family spends Rs 5000 for Food, 2000 for entertainment, Electricity
bill: 600, Water bill: 500, Cable Bill: 300 Ujjivan RD of Rs3000 monthly and Insurance
LIC of Rs 3600 which is paid every quarter.

The customer now wants loan to fund her further studies. Fill the Customer CP form and
give your comments.

5. Shanthi is working as an agricultural laborer and every day she is paid Rs 150 per day.
Every Sunday she will be visiting her Father who stays in Mysuru. The customer also
has 2 lactating cows with her. Every day the cows yields 15 lt of milk which she sells to
the dairy which pays her Rs 25 per ltr. Her son is working as a tractor driver and
manages to earn Rs 8000 every month. He is paying 2 chits of Rs 3000 each per month.
Customer presently has a loan in BSS and Ujjivan, amounting to Rs 20000 and 35000
respectively. Every month she pays EMI of Rs 1200 to BSS and Rs 2000 per month to
Ujjivan.
