to the rear of the drivers or passengers seat. In a high

- Travel & Comfort system
This modular system is designed around a base
attachment for the headrest bars. A coat-hanger,
folding table, universal hook or Apple iPad holder
(see p) can then be tted. The coathanger allows
clothes to be transported without creasing. It can
also be detached from the mounting and used to
carry clothes outside the vehicle. The folding table
gives passengers in the rear a convenient surface to
put things on and is tilt and height-adjustable. It also
includes a foldout cupholder with a stylish chrome-
look ring. The universal hook offers a convenient
place to hang light shopping bags, suit hangers and
the like. The Travel & Comfort system is nished in
a stylish matt black with silver highlights and goes
perfectly with the interior of your BMW.

The new Group + BMW Baby Seat with ISOFIX,
Group BMW Junior Seat with ISOFIX and the Group
/ BMW Junior Seat with ISOFIX anchor points are
child seats with a system and systematic thinking.
Suitable for children from - years (from approx. three
to kg), they are safe and comfortable and feature
integrated airpads for side impact protection that are
also pleasantly soft in daily use. Available in black/
Anthracite or black/blue.
Group + BMW Baby Seat with ISOFIX (pic )
Ideal seating for babies from to months (approx.
kg). The child restraint system consists of a portable
baby seat shell and ISOFIX base. The seat can also be
attached to the vehicle using the safety belt.
Group BMW Junior Seat with ISOFIX (pic )
Particularly secure, rear-facing seats for children from
approx. months to three years (approx. nine to kg).
Forward-facing seats are recommended for children
from three years. Consisting of a seat shell with its own
ve-point harnessing system and ISOFIX base. Can still
be used when an ISOFIX base is already in the vehicle.
Group / BMW Junior Seat (pic )
Safe and secure driving pleasure for three to -year-
olds. The Group / BMW Junior Seat adapts to the
vehicle and is suitable for children of up to cm in
height. The seat can also be connected to the vehicles
ISOFIX anchor points using its integrated connectors.
Interior |
Auxiliary heating
For warm interior comfort before you start a winters
journey. The pre-heated cooling circuit also means that the
engine is protected during start-up and fuel consumption
is reduced. The system is controlled either by remote
control, programming or directly via the onboard system.
Depending on model, the auxiliary heating can also be
operated wirelessly using the My BMW Remote iPhone
app (an active BMW ConnectedDrive contract for the
vehicle is required for use).
Sunscreen
Quick and easy to attach to the rear windscreen (pic )
and rear side windows (not pictured). When not in use it
can be stored in the bag supplied. A rear roller blind with
electric operation is also available.
Backrest protector (not pictured)
Protects the upholstery on the back of the two front seats
from dirt and damage.

CONNECTED MOBILITY AND MOVEMENT IN PERFECT UNION.

BMW holder for Apple iPad
Rear passengers can simply snap in any iPad model to
the base support of the Travel & Comfort system (see

ORIGINAL BMW COMMUNICATION & INFORMATION ACCESSORIES. page ) for ease of use. Adjustable for height and angle,
the holder can also be placed in a provided stand and
used outside the vehicle.

Snap-in adapter
Docking system for current mobile phones from Apple,
Nokia, Motorola, Samsung, Sony Ericsson and RIM
BlackBerry. In conjunction with the mobile phone
preparation with Bluetooth interface, the adapter
charges the phone while optimum network reception
is ensured via the vehicles external aerial. Depending
on vehicle equipment and the mobile phone being
used in the snap-in adapter, music les stored on the
phone can be played and album covers are shown
on the Control Display. BMW apps can also be used.

BMW Car Hotspot LTE

Taking the mobile internet experience into a new
dimension. With the BMW Car Hotspot LTE, you and
your passengers can go online with up to eight wireless
devices at the speed of LTE. All thats required is for a
SIM card to be inserted into the BMW Car Hotspot
2 LTE. It ts into a centre armrest dock or, thanks to its
integrated battery, can be used outside the vehicle. If
the LTE network is not available, UMTS (HSDPA) or
GSM can be used. Roaming while abroad can be
optionally deactivated.
Tablet DVD system
Two portable seven-inch monitors for mounting on the
headrests. The DVD player, integrated into one of the
monitors, plays video DVDs plus photo and audio CDs
(including MP format). Pictures and music from USB
sticks and memory cards can also be viewed/played.
Perfect sound is delivered by infrared stereo
headphones specially developed for the system. They
offer individual volume control and excellent comfort.

USB charging adapter
A highly convenient way to charge mobile devices in the
car via the cigarette lighter socket. Suitable for iPhone,
iPad and many other mobile USB devices.
Digital wireless headphones
In an exclusve BMW design and made specially for
the optional Rear Entertainment system. With digital,
interference-free transmission, volume control,
excellent sound imaging and high comfort.

Digital roadmaps
Up to per cent of the road network changes every
year, but with the latest digital roadmaps you are always
in the picture. Depending on country version, they offer
congestion warnings and RDS/TMC (Trafc Message
Channel) functions. Model-dependent annual updates,
including certicate, are available via DVD or USB stick.

Trailer tow hitch with fully electric swivelling
tow ball
For high trailer loads of up to ,kg, with a nose weight
of up to kg. With trailer stability control. When the tow
ball pivots to the side, the tow hitch is not visible.
Touring cycle holder, lockable
Robust attachment for transporting a bicycle with a frame
diameter of to mm. Also suitable for a mountain
bike with a tyre size of inches. A bike can be quickly
attached to the holder with a simple mounting system.

+ Bicycle/e-bike holder for trailer tow hitch

For transporting up to two bicycles or e-bikes. An
extension set for a third bike is available. The holder
and bikes are secured against theft. The holder pivots
down to allow tailgate access and can be folded and
stored in the boot.

Bicycle holder for the interior

A special anti-theft mounting kit for up to two bicycles
attaches to the luggage compartment lashing rails.

Racing cycle holder, lockable

Suitable for bicycles with quick-release levers on the
front wheel. A holder for securing the front wheel to
the base support system is also available.
