III. Procedures
Teachers activity Students activity
A. Classroom Routine
Before we start our lesson, let us all stand up for our -standing up-

Wow everybody's present, let's say "hoooraay". hoooraayyy
B. Learning Stage
a. Exploration (Activity)
Children, for our activity I prepared here a poem
about "Digestive System" and I want everybody to
recite the poem.
We will read it altogether, okay? Okay teacher.
One..two..three.. **reading a poem..

b. Firming Up (Analysis)
The teacher will ask questions to the students about
the poem.
What was the poem all about? Its all about Digestive System, teacher.
What are the different parts of the digestive Mouth, esophagus.
system mentioned in the poem?
Very good!
So our topic for today is all about "Digestive
System".

c. Deepening (Abstraction)
Okay class, I have here pictures of the different
parts of the Digestive System, let's define each
organs that part of it and its function.
First we have;
MOUTH
ESOHAPGUS.
STOMACH
ASSOCIATED GLANDS.,
LIVER AND PANCREAS..
SMALL INTESTINE.
LARGE INTESTINE.
RECTUM.
ANUS..

So now, we will watch a video clip of an actual food **watching a video

process through digestive system.
That's what Digestive System all about.
So, do you understand now children? Yes, teacher.
Again, what are the different parts of the digestive MOUTH
system? Can enumerate its part according to its ESOHAPGUS
proper sequence? STOMACH
ASSOCIATED GLANDS
LIVER AND PANCREAS
SMALL INTESTINE
LARGE INTESTINE
RECTUM
ANUS
Very good! Children.
Okay I have a question, what is the importance of
our digestive system in our daily living? It helps us digest the food that we ate, teacher.
Why is it important? It is our source of energy, teacher.
Yes, that's right! Our digestive system helps us
digest the food that we ate and gave us energy.

d. Transferring (Application)
Okay, since you already know what is Digestive
System, let's have a group activity.
I want you to group into three and each member of
the group should choose one part of the digestive
system and explain it.
The presentation of each part should be sequential
according to the digestive function, okay? Okay, teacher.
Are you done? Yes, teacher.
Okay, since everyone of you are doing very good
today, let's give ourselves "Fireworks Clap" **do the fireworks clap**
IV. Evaluation
Direction: Label the parts of the digestive system in the given diagram. Choose the word
inside the given box.
MOUTH LARGE INTESTINE SMALL INTESTINE
ESOHAPGUS RECTUM ANUS
STOMACH ASSOCIATED GLANDS LIVER AND PANCREAS

V. Assignment
Direction: Study in advance about the different parts and functions of Respiratory
System.
