First Steps: Installation of SAP Enhancement Package 6 for

SAP ERP 6.0
This First Steps document gives you an overview of the various sources of information that
are available for the delivered product SAP enhancement package 6 for SAP ERP 6.0. It
contains important information and current amendments to existing documentation (such as
SAP Notes and Internet addresses). The document also describes how you access SAP
Service Marketplace and where you can find help for the delivered SAP product.
The abbreviation EHP is used for enhancement package throughout this document.

A) First Steps to Installing SAP EHP 6 for SAP ERP 6.0

If you do not yet have a user for SAP Service Marketplace, create one as described in
section B.1).

In SAP Service Marketplace you will find the documents you require for planning SAP
ERP installations and upgrades. For more information about the documentation, see
section B.3).

SAP enhancement package 6 for SAP ERP 6.0 is a delta shipment for SAP ERP 6.0 and
requires an SAP ERP 6.0 installation. Consequently, the technical prerequisites for
installing SAP enhancement package 6 for SAP ERP 6.0 are minimal. We recommend you
import SAP enhancement package 6 for SAP ERP 6.0 as part of your normal maintenance
procedure. To do this, add the support package stack to the import queue for SAP
enhancement package 6 for SAP ERP 6.0. For more information about the minimum
requirements, see SAP Note 1566412. For more information about the support packages,
see section B.4) Support and Maintenance.

For information about SAP ERP 6.0, see SAP Enhancement Package 6 for SAP ERP 6.0
Master Guide and SAP ERP 6.0 Master Guide. SAP enhancement package 6 for SAP
ERP is based on SAP ERP 6.0. Depending on the key capabilities you require, determine
the necessary SAP ERP software components and instances, as well as the
corresponding system landscape. If you are planning to upgrade existing software
components, consult the information in the SAP ERP 6.0 Upgrade Master Guide too. The
latest versions of these guides are available on SAP Service Marketplace at
service.sap.com/erp-inst SAP ERP 6.0 SAP enhancement package for
SAP ERP 6.0 SAP enhancement package 6 for SAP ERP 6.0, at service.sap.com/erp-

Upgrade. A paper version of the SAP Enhancement Package 6 for SAP ERP 6.0 Master
Guide is also included with the delivery. It refers to the installation guides you will need for
the installation. If you use SAP NetWeaver 7.3 components, you also need to read the
information contained in the SAP NetWeaver 7.3 Master Guide and the Upgrade Master
Guide. These guides are also available on SAP Service Marketplace. You can find the
latest versions of both guides at service.sap.com/instguidesnw73. Make sure you always
use the most up-to-date version of the documents.

Before you start to install or upgrade the first system, you have to install the SAP Solution
Manager or update the existing version. This is a technical requirement for performing
installations and upgrading SAP ERP 6.0 systems. For more information, see section B.5)
SAP Solution Manager.
 Based on the Media List for SAP Enhancement Package 6 for SAP ERP 6.0, which
you can find on SAP Service Marketplace at service.sap.com/erp-inst
SAP ERP 6.0 SAP enhancement package for SAP ERP 6.0 SAP enhancement
package 6 for SAP ERP 6.0, determine which data carrier in the package you need to
install or upgrade the respective SAP ERP software components.

Install or upgrade the software components as described in the installation / upgrade

guides or installation / upgrade notes.

B) Important Information and Sources

B.1) Prerequisites for the Use of SAP Service Marketplace

Requesting a User ID for SAP Service Marketplace

To request a user ID for SAP Service Marketplace, go to service.sap.com and choose

Registration at the top right of the screen. To register, you need a valid e-mail address and
your customer or installation number, which you will find on the delivery note for this
shipment. Your user ID enables you to access all SAP information and support channels.

Your user ID also enables you to create customer messages. For more information, see SAP
Service Marketplace at service.sap.com/message.

B.2) License Keys

When installing an SAP system, a temporary license key is created automatically. The key is
valid for four weeks. You must apply for a permanent license key immediately after you have
installed your SAP software. (For further information, see SAP Notes 94998 and 870871.)
You apply for this license key on the SAP Support Portal at service.sap.com/support Keys
& Requests License Keys or at service.sap.com/licensekeys. To do this, you need the
LICENSE KEY ASSIGNMENT authorization. (Further information is available on the SAP
Support Portal at service.sap.com/user-admin.) If you have any problems or questions
regarding license keys, create a customer message for component XX-SER-LIKEY. In case
of problems regarding user administration, create a customer message for component XX-
SER-SAPSMP-USR.

The shipment also includes the License Keys & License Audit CD. It contains all the
documentation as well as important information about the license auditing tools and the
preparations you need to make for license auditing.

B.3) Documentation

Master Guides

The SAP Enhancement Package 6 for SAP ERP 6.0 Master Guide and SAP ERP 6.0 Master
Guide are the starting points for planning an SAP ERP system and component landscape.
They contain information about a minimum SAP landscape, the required software components
for key functional areas in SAP ERP 6.0, the installation sequence, the data carriers required
to install or upgrade SAP ERP software components, and so on.

The SAP ERP 6.0 Upgrade Master Guide is the starting point for planning upgrades in an SAP
ERP system and component landscape. For example, it describes for defined processes the
steps required to upgrade the individual software components, the upgrade sequence, and
sample system landscapes.

Online Documentation

The online documentation DVD, which includes SAP Library for SAP ERP 6.0, is part of this
shipment. The SAP Library for SAP ERP 6.0 is also available on the SAP Help Portal at
help.sap.com Documentation. You can find the documentation for the business functions
that are delivered with the enhancement packages on the SAP Help Portal (help.sap.com) at
SAP ERP SAP ERP Enhancement Packages ERP Central Component Enhancement
Package 6, SP01 Business Functions (SAP-Enhancement Package 6 for SAP ERP 6.0).

The documentation of the new or enhanced applications in the enhancement packages is

heavily oriented on the content of the business functions. This applies to the system
documentation and the SAP Library. For information about installing the SAP Library in the
context of the enhancement packages, see the documentation DVD that is part of the
software delivery (the "Readme" text) and SAP Note 1066110.

Release Notes

The Release Notes for SAP enhancement package 6 for SAP ERP 6.0 that describe the new
functions and changes are available on SAP Service Marketplace at

If you encounter problems when installing, upgrading, or running SAP enhancement package
6 for SAP ERP 6.0, create a customer message on SAP Service Marketplace at
service.sap.com/message.

Maintenance Strategy

The end of mainstream maintenance for SAP enhancement package 6 for SAP ERP 6.0 is
oriented on the underlying SAP ERP 6.0. For more information about the maintenance

Support Package Stacks

You can download all the available SAP Support Packages and patches for SAP
enhancement package 6 for SAP ERP 6.0 from the Software Distribution Center on SAP
Service Marketplace at service.sap.com/patches.

SAP recommends that you always install the latest support package stacks. Support package
stacks constitute a set of support packages and patches.

For information about the minimum support package stack level and the prerequisites for

Support for Partner Products

While running SAP software, you may encounter errors that are caused not by the SAP
products but can be traced back to the database, operating system, hardware, or other
application products, for example.

Note the following when requesting support for such problems:

Case 1: The product was purchased through SAP.

This applies to the following products: Java Virtual Machine CrEme for PocketPC, specific
mobile device drivers approved by SAP, the database IBM DB2 Everyplace for SAP
Mobile Infrastructure 2.5 and the databases MS SQL Version > 7, Oracle RDBMS,
Informix Online server, DB2 UDB or application products (such as those by Requisite). In
this case, SAP is your contact for support and assumes responsibility for finding a
solution together with the product vendor within the scope of the SAP Maintenance
Agreement.

Case 2: The product was not purchased through SAP.

1. This applies to all other products, such as all operating systems and hardware, as
well as the database IBM DB2/400, non-SAP application products, and database
administration tools/functions, if applicable.
The contact for support for these products is the product vendor. If the error was
originally reported to SAP, SAP Support forwards the message to the respective
 partners support organization. SAP has agreements with all partners that clearly
define the procedures for forwarding these customer support messages.
Note that the partner only provides support if you have a valid support contract
with the product vendor for the product in question. Note also that the agreed
service times (weekends and nights, for example) are an important component in
this contract.

2. Check whether your support contracts match our partners recommendation or

the above-mentioned conditions and, if necessary, contact the partner or service-
provider for the partner products directly.

B.5) SAP Solution Manager

With SAP Solution Manager, SAP provides you with a platform that supports the
implementation, operation, and continuous improvement of SAP ERP 6.0. Using SAP Solution
Manager enables you to take full advantage of SAPs support services and gives you the
opportunity to leverage the broad spectrum of SAP's support and continuous improvement
offerings.

SAP strongly recommends using SAP Solution Manager to determine the software
components that need to be installed so that you can use the desired business functions. A
minimum requirement is to have SAP Solution Manager 7.0 enhancement package 1 SPS 23
or SAP Solution Manager 7.1 SPS 01 installed in the SAP Solution Manager system. The
Solution Manager Maintenance Optimizer (MOpz) enables you to select the technical usages
to be installed. For more information about the implementation, see the SAP Enhancement
Package 6 for SAP ERP 6.0 Master Guide, or the SAP Enhancement Package 6 for SAP ERP
6.0 Upgrade Master Guide, if you want to upgrade from a previous SAP enhancement
package.

During the installation process, an SAP Solution Manager system is required to generate the
SAP Solution Manager Key for the installation of SAP enhancement package 6 for SAP ERP
6.0. Without this key you cannot complete the installation process successfully.

Perform the following activities with SAP Solution Manager as part of your SAP ERP project:
1. Define your system landscape.
2. Connect existing systems to activate the EarlyWatch Alert.
3. Define the relevant SAP ERP 6.0 business processes for your implementation.

Additionally, SAP recommends that you:

1. Document, configure, and test the business processes you have already defined
2. Train end users how to use SAP Solution Manager
3. If you are using SAP components based on the JAVA stack, install and use Solution
Manager Diagnostics for root cause analysis.

Accelerated Implementation of SAP ERP 6.0

With "Implementation Content", SAP provides a wide range of knowledge relating to the
implementation of integrated, cross-component business processes and scenarios. It
supplements the functional footprint delivered with SAP Solution Manager. You can deploy
this knowledge during system implementation by using the delivered "Implementation
Content" as the starting point for your project work. For more information about
"Implementation Content" for SAP ERP 6.0, see the Documentation area for SAP Solution
Manager on the SAP Help Portal.

You can download software, including support packages, from the SAP Software Distribution

If you experience problems or have questions relating to downloading software, you can

Maintenance Optimizer

All support packages (stacks) for SAP NetWeaver 7.3 and subsequent versions, as well as all
applications that are based on this software (including SAP Business Suite 2005), released
after April 2, 2007, require the Maintenance Optimizer in SAP Solution Manager. For more
information, see service.sap.com/solman-mopz.

SAP Download Manager

SAP strongly recommends that you use SAP Solution Manager to download the software
components that you have to install for SAP enhancement package 6 for SAP ERP 6.0. The
Solution Manager Maintenance Optimizer (MOpz) enables you to select the technical usages
(TU) to be installed.

However, you can continue to use the SAP Download Manager to download software from
the SAP Software Distribution Center. This is available on SAP Service Marketplace at
service.sap.com/download-basket Get Download Manager. If you have any problems or
questions relating to the SAP Download Manager, you can create a customer message for
component XX-SER-SAPSMP-SDM.

Ordering Software on CD or DVD

As an alternative to downloading software from the SAP Software Distribution Center, you
can also order software on CD or DVD from the SAP Software Shop on SAP Service
Marketplace. For more information, see the SAP Software Distribution Center Ordering

questions relating to purchasing software, you can create a customer message for component

B.7) SAP Enhancement Package Info Center

SAP provides new business processes continuously and has therefore created a new area on
SAP Service Marketplace focusing on the SAP enhancement packages for SAP ERP. This
area presents all information relevant to enhancement packages for SAP ERP 6.0 in a clear
and structured way. You can use these packages as a central point of access. The
information ranges from the SAP enhancement strategy in general, through an overview of
SAP enhancement package 6 for SAP ERP 6.0 including an overview of new capabilities,
potential benefits, and business functions to technical details. In addition to finding useful
information here, you can also access documentation, release notes, and test catalogs.
Possible dependencies are also described. You can find the SAP Enhancement Package Info
Center at service.sap.com/erp-enhancement package.

B.8) SAP Upgrade Info Center

The SAP Upgrade Info Center (developed specially for SAP ERP) contains information about
how to prepare and implement an upgrade to SAP ERP (with the focus on SAP ECC 6.0),
structured according to the target release. It gives you an overview of the useful tools,
content, and services provided by SAP for the upgrade. One example is the SAP Upgrade
Roadmap, which you can use for project planning and monitoring (together with SAP Solution
Manager). You can find the SAP Upgrade Info Center at service.sap.com/upgrade-erp.

B.9) Miscellaneous

Using MDMP (Multi-Display, Multi-Processing)

MDMP is no longer supported as of SAP ERP 6.0. See SAP Note 79991 for more information.

Consequently, you must convert your MDMP SAP R/3 Enterprise or MDMP mySAP ERP
2004 system to Unicode, otherwise you cannot upgrade to SAP ERP 6.0.

Note also that a blended codepage or MDSP is not an alternative all statements regarding
MDMP are also valid for blended codepages or MDSP (including all restrictions; see SAP
Note 73606).

Single codepage systems (non-MDMP/non-blended codepages) are not affected by these

measures. You can upgrade these systems to SAP ERP 6.0 without Unicode conversion. In
general, single codepage systems are supported up to and including SAP ERP 6.0 (with the
restrictions described in SAP Notes 858869 and 838402).

SAP recommends the use of Unicode particularly with new installations (see also SAP Note
838402).

Information About Asian Language Versions

You can find detailed information about Asian language versions in SAP Note 749760.

Customers who install the Japanese version are required to change the adjustment
parameters for the Japanese address layout as described in SAP Note 639035.
Important Note for Customers Using the Database Platform DB2 for z/OS

SAP ERP 6.0 runs on SAP NetWeaver 7.0 and requires DB2 V8 and DB2 Connect V8. You
can find more information about DB2 V8 releases and release restrictions in SAP Note
728743.

Modifying Add-Ons

If you are using a modifying add-on, make sure that this add-on is valid and can be used for
SAP enhancement package 6 for ERP 6.0 before you install SAP enhancement package 6 for
ERP 6.0. To check the details, contact the vendor or read the release notes for SAP products

B) Wichtige Informationen und Informationsquellen

B.1) Voraussetzungen fr die Nutzung des SAP Service Marketplace

Beantragung einer Benutzer-ID fr den SAP Service Marketplace

Unter service.sap.com knnen Sie oben rechts mit dem Link Registrierung eine Benutzer-ID
fr den SAP Service Marketplace beantragen. Dazu bentigen Sie eine gltige E-Mail-
Adresse sowie die Kunden- oder Installationsnummer, die Sie auf dem Lieferschein dieser
Auslieferung finden. Mit dieser Benutzer-ID haben Sie Zugriff auf alle Informations- und
Supportkanle von SAP.

Mit dieser Benutzer-ID knnen Sie auerdem Kundenmeldungen erfassen. Weitere

Informationen hierzu finden Sie auf dem SAP Service Marketplace unter
service.sap.com/message.

B.2) Lizenzschlssel

Bei der Installation eines SAP-Systems wird automatisch ein temporrer Lizenzschlssel
erzeugt, der vier Wochen lang gltig ist. Direkt nach der Installation Ihrer SAP-Software
mssen Sie einen dauerhaft gltigen Lizenzschlssel beantragen. (Weitere Informationen
hierzu finden Sie in den SAP-Hinweisen 94998 und 870871.) Beantragen Sie diesen
Lizenzschlssel im SAP Support Portal unter service.sap.com/support Keys & Requests
License Keys oder unter service.sap.com/licensekeys. Dazu bentigen Sie die
Berechtigung LICENSE KEY ASSIGNMENT. (Weitere Informationen hierzu finden Sie im
SAP Support Portal unter service.sap.com/user-admin.) Bei Problemen oder Fragen im
Zusammenhang mit Lizenzschlsseln erfassen Sie eine Kundenmeldung unter der
Komponente XX-SER-LIKEY; bei Problemen mit der Benutzeradministration erfassen Sie
eine Kundenmeldungen unter der Komponente XX-SER-SAPSMP-USR.

Im Auslieferungspaket ist auerdem die CD License Keys & License Audit enthalten. Die CD
enthlt die vollstndige Dokumentation sowie wichtige Informationen zu den fr die
Lizenzvermessung verwendeten Werkzeugen und den von Ihnen dafr zu treffenden
Vorbereitungen.
B.3) Dokumentation

Master Guides

Der SAP EHP 6 for SAP ERP 6.0 Master Guide und der SAP ERP 6.0 Master Guide dienen
als Ausgangspunkt fr die Planung einer System- und Komponentenlandschaft fr SAP ERP.
Sie beschreiben beispielsweise eine SAP-ERP-Minimallandschaft, die notwendigen

Support fr Partnerprodukte

Beim Einsatz von SAP-Software knnen Fehler auftreten, die nicht durch die SAP-Produkte
verursacht werden, sondern beispielsweise auf die Datenbank, das Betriebssystem, die
Hardware oder andere Anwendungsprodukte zurckzufhren sind.

Hinsichtlich des Supports im Fall solcher Probleme ist Folgendes zu beachten:

 Fall 1: Das Produkt wurde ber SAP erworben.
Dies betrifft folgende Produkte: Java Virtual Machine CrEme for PocketPC, spezielle von
SAP genehmigte Treiber fr mobile Endgerte, die Datenbank IBM DB2 Everyplace fr
SAP Mobile Infrastructure 2.5 und die Datenbanken MS SQL Version > 7, Oracle
RDBMS, Informix-Online-Server, DB2 UDB oder Anwendungsprodukte (z. B. von
Requisite). In diesem Fall ist SAP ihr Ansprechpartner fr den Support dieser Produkte
und bernimmt im Rahmen des SAP-Wartungsvertrags die Verantwortung fr die
gemeinsame Problemlsung zusammen mit dem Hersteller.

Fall 2: Das Produkt wurde nicht ber SAP erworben.

1. Dies betrifft alle anderen Produkte, z. B. alle Betriebssysteme und die

Hardware, sowie die Datenbank IBM DB2/400, Nicht-SAP-
Anwendungsprodukte und ggf. Werkzeuge sowie Funktionen zur
Datenbankadministration.
Der Ansprechpartner fr den Support dieser Produkte ist der Hersteller. Wenn
der Fehler ursprnglich an SAP gemeldet wurde, leitet der SAP-Support diese
Meldung an die Supportorganisation des betreffenden Partners weiter. Hierzu
hat SAP mit allen Partnern vertraglich festgelegte bergabeprozesse
vereinbart.
Beachten Sie, dass der Partner nur Support leistet, sofern zwischen Ihnen und
dem Hersteller ein gltiger Supportvertrag fr das betreffende Produkt besteht.
Beachten Sie auerdem, dass dabei die vereinbarten Servicezeiten (z. B.
Wochenende, nachts) ein entscheidender Vertragsbestandteil sind.

2. berprfen Sie, ob Ihre Supportvertrge der Empfehlung unserer Partner oder

den oben genannten Bedingungen entsprechen, und setzen Sie sich
gegebenenfalls direkt mit dem Partner oder einem fr die Partnerprodukte
zustndigen Dienstleister in Verbindung.

Mit dem SAP Solution Manager bietet Ihnen SAP eine Plattform an, mit der Sie SAP ERP 6.0
einfhren, betreiben und stetig erweitern und optimieren knnen. Der SAP Solution Manager
versetzt Sie in die Lage, die Supportleistungen von SAP umfassend zu nutzen, und gibt Ihnen
die Mglichkeit, vom breiten Leistungsspektrum des SAP-Supports sowie von den Angeboten
der SAP im Hinblick auf stetige Optimierung zu profitieren.

SAP empfiehlt unbedingt den Einsatz des SAP Solution Manager, um die
Softwarekomponenten zu ermitteln, die zur Nutzung der gewnschten Business Functions zu

Nutzung von MDMP (multi-display, multi-processing)

MDMP wird ab SAP ERP 6.0 nicht mehr untersttzt. Beachten Sie hierzu SAP-Hinweis 79991.

Infolgedessen mssen Sie Ihr MDMP-SAP-R/3-Enterprise- oder MDMP-mySAP-ERP-2004-

System auf Unicode umstellen, da andernfalls kein Upgrade auf SAP ERP 6.0 mglich ist.

Beachten Sie auch, dass eine gemischte Codepage oder MDSP keine Alternative darstellt
alle Aussagen fr MDMP gelten auch fr gemischte Codepages oder MDSP (mit allen
Einschrnkungen, siehe SAP-Hinweis 73606).

Single-Codepage-Systeme (Non-MDMP/Nicht-gemischte Codepages) sind von den

genannten Manahmen nicht betroffen. Ein Upgrade dieser Systeme auf SAP ERP 6.0 ist
ohne Unicode-Konvertierung mglich. Generell werden Single-Codepage-Systeme noch bis
einschlielich SAP ERP 6.0 untersttzt (mit den u. a. in SAP-Hinweis 858869 und SAP-
Hinweis 838402 beschriebenen Einschrnkungen).

SAP empfiehlt die Verwendung von Unicode insbesondere bei Neuinstallationen (siehe

Support des produits partenaires

Lors de lutilisation des logiciels SAP peuvent se produire des erreurs qui ne sont pas
causes par les produits SAP, mais par exemple par la base de donnes, le systme
d'exploitation, le matriel ou d'autres produits d'applications.
En ce qui concerne le support en cas de problmes de ce genre, les lments suivants
doivent tre considrs :

Cas n 1 : Le produit a t acquis par lintermdiaire de SAP.

Cela concerne les produits suivants : Java Virtual Machine CrEme for PocketPC, les
pilotes spcialement autoriss par SAP pour les terminaux mobiles, la base de donnes
IBM DB2 Everyplace pour SAP Mobile Infrastructure 2.5 et la base de donnes MS SQL
Version > 7, Oracle RDBMS, Informix-Online-Server, DB2 UDB ou des produits
d'applications (par exemple issus du catalogue interne). Dans ce cas, SAP est votre
interlocuteur pour le support de ces produits et assume dans le cadre du contrat SAP la
responsabilit pour la rsolution commune du problme en collaboration avec le
fabricant.

Cas n 2 : Le produit na pas t acquis par lintermdiaire de SAP.

1. Cela concerne tous les autres produits, par exemple tous les systmes
d'exploitation et le matriel, ainsi que la base de donnes IBM DB2/400, les
produits dapplications non SAP et ventuellement les outils ainsi que
fonctions d'administration de base de donnes.
Linterlocuteur pour le support de ces produits est le fabricant. Si l'erreur a t
annonce l'origine SAP, le Support SAP transmet ce message
l'organisation de support du partenaire en question. Pour cela, SAP a convenu
de processus de transmission spcifiques par contrat avec tous ses
partenaires.
Notez que le partenaire prend en charge le support uniquement sil existe
entre vous et le fabricant un contrat de support valide pour le produit en
question. Considrez en outre que les heures de service convenues (par
exemple week-end, nuit) sont un lment contractuel dcisif.

2. Vrifiez si vos contrats de support correspondent la recommandation de

nos partenaires ou aux conditions mentionnes ci-dessus et mettez-vous
ventuellement en rapport direct avec le partenaire ou un prestataire de
services comptent pour les produits partenaires.

B.5) SAP Solution Manager

Avec SAP Solution Manager, SAP vous propose une plateforme qui vous permet dinstaller,
dexploiter et aussi de dvelopper et optimiser en permanence SAP ERP 6.0. SAP Solution
Manager vous permet d'utiliser pleinement les performances du support SAP et vous offre la
possibilit de profiter de ltendue des prestations du Support SAP ainsi que des offres de
SAP concernant une optimisation constante.

SAP recommande l'emploi de SAP Solution Manager pour dterminer les composantes
logicielles installer pour utiliser les Business Functions souhaites. La configuration requise
minimale est SAP Solution Manager 7.0 EHP 1 SPS 23 ou SAP Solution Manager 7.1 SPS 01
dans le systme de SAP Solution Manager. Avec Solution Manager Maintenance Optimizer,
vous pouvez choisir les Technical Usages installer. Vous trouverez dautres informations sur
limplmentation dans le Guide principal de SAP EHP 6 pour SAP ERP 6.0 ou dans le Guide
principal de monte de version de SAP EHP 6 pour SAP ERP 6.0, si vous effectuez la monte
de version partir dun prcdent package dextension SAP.

Pendant le processus d'installation, un systme SAP Solution Manager est ncessaire pour
gnrer la cl SAP Solution Manager Key pour l'installation de SAP EHP 6 pour SAP
ERP 6.0. Sans cette cl, le processus dinstallation ne peut pas se terminer
correctement.
Avec SAP Solution Manager, excutez les activits suivantes dans votre projet SAP
ERP :
1. Dfinissez votre infrastructure systme.
2. Reliez les systmes existants pour activer EarlyWatch Alert.
3. Dfinissez les processus de gestion SAP ERP 6.0 pertinents pour limplmentation.

dextension pour SAP ERP 6.0 sont prsentes clairement dans ce domaine. Les pages

Utilisation de MDMP (multi-display, multi-processing)

MDMP n'est plus pris en charge partir de SAP ERP 6.0. Consultez ce sujet la note SAP
79991.

Par consquent, vous devez convertir votre systme MDMP SAP R/3 Enterprise ou
MDMP mySAP ERP 2004 en Unicode, sinon, aucune monte de version de SAP ERP 6.0
nest possible.

Considrez galement quune page de code mixte ou MDSP ne prsente aucune alternative
toutes les dclarations pour MDMP s'appliquent aussi aux pages de code mixte ou MDSP
(pour toutes les restrictions, voir la note SAP 73606).

Les systmes pages de code unique (pages de code non MDMP/non mixte) ne sont pas
concerns par les mesures cites. Une monte de version de ces systmes sur SAP ERP 6.0
est possible sans conversion en Unicode. Gnralement, les systmes pages de code
unique sont encore pris en charge jusqu SAP ERP 6.0 inclus (avec entre autres les
restrictions dcrites dans les notes SAP 858869 et 838402).

SAP recommande lutilisation dUnicode, en particulier pour les nouvelles installations (voir
