Responsible for Analysis & Design of Diaphragm Wall , Column, Staircase , Waler Beam, Cut &
Cover Tunnel, Beam , Platform slab & also for preparation of reinforcement drawings of Diaphragm
wall, Column , Stair , Cut & Cover Tunnel & Platform slab for Lajpat Nagar Station.

Underground Station Box

Design of diaphragm wall for Static & Dynamic (racking force) loads. Design of Column on top
of Diaphragm wall & in the centre of the station and Beam at cut out locations.
Frame analyzed using Staad.pro, Wallap software and concrete design using standard in-
house excel sheets. For Column design 3d modelling is done in STAAD Pro.
Structure checked for detailed flexural crack width.
Coordination with drafting team to finalize the detailed reinforcement drawings.

Design of diaphragm wall and column is approved by Systra and DMRC and construction
is going on at site.

Retrieval Shaft

Design of diaphragm wall for Static & Dynamic (racking force) loads. Retrieval shaft at Lajpat
Nagar has been designed as a permanent structure. Design of slabs (with and without
opening) and waler beam of Retrieval shaft for dead load, crane load.
Frame analyzed using Wallap software and concrete design using standard in-house excel
sheets. Slab parallel to the track has been modelled as waler beam and plate models and
analysed using STAAD Pro software.
Coordination with drafting team to finalize the detailed reinforcement drawings.

Design of diaphragm wall is approved by Systra and DMRC and construction is going on
at site.
Platform slab

Design of Slab, Beam & Stub column of Platform slab at Lajpat nagar station.
Platform Slab has been designed as One way & Two way slab by preparing Beam column
model of the entire platform slab in Staad pro software. Beam & Stub column has been
designed from the same model.
All the Dead load, Live load , R.C.C wall load & Stair load coming on Platform slab has been
considered for the design.
Coordination with drafting team to finalize the detailed reinforcement drawings
Design of Platform slab is approved by Systra and DMRC and construction is going on at
site.

Stairs:

Design of Stairs inside Main Station & at Entry Exit location of Lajpat nagar station with
different structural arrangement as per requirement. Starting from platform slab to concourse
slab & concourse to top slab.
Stairs has been designed considering all the dead load & live load coming on it.
Beam or Column has been provided at different location as per requirement & provisions.
Coordination with drafting team to finalize the detailed reinforcement drawings.

Design of Stairs is approved by Systra and DMRC .

Cut & Cover Tunnel:

Design of Cut & Cover tunnel after Lajpat nagar & Hazrat nizamuddin station considering
Static & Dynamic (Racking) loads.
Single cell , Double & Triple cell Cut & Cover box has been analyzed by 2D frame model or
by 3D modelling using Staad.pro and Concrete design done by using standard in-house excel
sheets.
Structure checked for detailed flexural crack width.
Coordination with drafting team to finalize the detailed reinforcement drawings.

Design of Cut & Cover tunnel is approved by Systra and DMRC .

Water Tank:

Analysis of water tank done by 3D modelling in Staad pro Considering all the Static loads.
Design of water tank is done as per IS 456.
Structure checked for detailed flexural crack width.

Coordination with drafting team to finalize the detailed reinforcement drawings.
